Lido Sofia Apartments

Due to Covid we cancelled our holiday here two summers in a row. Thankfully, Katerina was very understanding of our situation and she made sure that there was a room available for us when we decided it was safe to travel - and it was well worth the wait. The view from the apartment was stunning and we spent a lot of time on the spacious balcony watching the ever-changing sky and listening to the waves crashing. The pool was a lot bigger than we expected and was a great place to watch the sunset as well as enjoy some drinks and snacks. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen had basic cooking facilities. We didn't worry about cooking so much as there was a great choice of places to eat on the way down to the beach - Sebastian's was one of our favourites. The beach was about a 10-minute walk away and although it was very busy at times, we could always find a nice spot for ourselves. We really enjoyed going for a swim in the sea as it was so warm and calm. Agios Gordios is well placed for visiting lots of interesting places too. We hired a car were able to do lots of short trips around the area. Pelekas was a great spot where you could get a 360 view of the island. Corfu Town was only half an hour away. It had some really beautiful buildings but was incredibly busy. We would probably choose a quieter time of the year to go and look around it again. All in all, we would highly recommend Lido Sofia. You can't beat the location and the people here were so welcoming and laid back.
