Every thing is simple and delicious in the way the best Greek restaurants are known for. I love eating here. The location, the octopus, sea bass, ocra … it’s all presented in a way that lets the key ingredients sing. The beautiful location just sets this place up amounts the best in Drios at reasonable prices. I’d happily pay more… so I leave a good tip!

We ate there 3 times during this year’s 6 day stay in Drios.  It is one of the favorite places of one of our friends who lives in Drios both for coffee, a drink or to eat.    The elevated waterside location is idyllic with the view over the sea and the islands of Naxos, Ios and Sikinos in the distance.  It is lovely to eat listening to the sound of the waves rolling onto Drios beach below.  The food is always good.  Interestingly the excellent Gouna (sun dried mackerel) has gone up from €10 to €12 between 2022 and 2023.  The fried anchovies are also very good and reasonable value at €9.  They serve a huge Greek Salad and absolutely wonderful wholemeal bread from Marmara.  We regularly went for a filter coffee in the morning during our Drios stay.   Coffee is more reasonably priced than other cafes.  The people are also very friendly.  One day we had a swim and after it we felt like coffee.  We had no money with us, and we asked them if we could pay later, and as this is Greece, there was no problem.

The view is amazing and the beach is only 10 steps away! All  food(e.g. papoutsakia,any kind of fish,) is of high quality but the must to taste is the homemade mousaka cooked by Antoni's mother.To  my opinion is the best ever mousaka you can have!

This restaurant offers what most others in the area don't: direct sea view, great food, low bill. The only slightly negative comment is that the furniture needs an uplift. Also, although this restaurant was recommended to us there is no obvious sign on how to find it as you have to go up some steps behind another building and follow a path and then there no clear distinction between the hotel and the restaurant.

We didnt stay here but on the first night on the island we happened here for dinner, and loved it so much, we returned again on our last night. 
Excellent venue looking over the sea. Great food. And special mention to Dimitri, the waiter, who was efficient and charming.

Wonderful simple place to either stay or eat breakfast lunch or supper. The waiters were so polite and helpful and the food super. Rooms looked over the sea a step away from an unspoilt beach. Very quiet and relaxing.

First time we stayed at the Julia and were very pleased. It is an old style Greek hotel but has all the modern conveniences. The room was clean with a great view  of the sea.The price was very reasonable and the taverna has a great view of the sea. We enjoyed the staff and everyone was very  helpful. Drios is a very quiet place and is accessible via public transportation.
