Covered in glorious bougainvillea, a few yards from the beach and great tavernas, clean and functional and priced extremely reasonably, the real bonus is the warmest of welcomes and care shown by owner, Maria, and her staff - wonderful venue!

Great small hotel

Rooms were clean and tidied everyday and very pretty, they were perfect for my friend and I that were island hopping! 
A beautiful family run hotel with a very welcoming, kind and lovely host who made us feel at home. Would recommend to everyone who is visiting Naxos! :)

Perfect hotel for Naxos!

A wonderful family run hotel only a few metres from the beach at St George on the south side of Naxos harbour. The top floor rooms have a sea view while the lower ones have a lovely calm atmosphere with plants, trees and singing birds. It's approx 10 minutes easy walk from the ferry port. The hotel is run by Maria and her daughters who provide a warm Greek welcome to guests from all over the world many of whom seem to return year after year.

The hotel is 1 minute from St George beach and tavernas.  I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking bougainvillea bushes.  Maria, who runs the hotel, is extraordinarily helpful and informative.  The rooms are basic but kept clean.  Out of hours access is via a supplied key.  Breakfast can be supplied.  I would make this my first choice on a return stay to Naxos town.

Friendly family run hotel 20 minute from ferry and 1 minute from beach

Stayed 2 nights at Hotel Elizabeth with my husband. The price seemed to be the going rate for Naxos Town, but what drew us to this hotel was the garden on the street entrance and to our surprise the garden from our balcony. The room was clean and airy, basic and reatively quiet. Bathroom small but more than adequate. I would describe the hotel as more traditional pension in style. The owner, Maria was very helpful and friendly.

Quaint and homely

Very friendly lady! Cosy "hippy-atmosphere" with the most outstanding flowery facade in this extremely hotel dense area. 
Room was clean but small and quite worn out. -Nothing else to expect for €35 in high season... 
Offered to bring us simple breakfast to the room!
Walking distance from the harbour and hundreds of restaurants and tourist shops. 
Just a stone's threw from the beach. 
-No place I would consider bathing or staying though, but loads of rental places in the area... ;)

Marvelous cosy family hotel in the heart of Naxos. Magic rooms full of the lights, colors and winds of the Cyclades. Above all the generosity, welcoming, warm heart and best services of the enchanting owner Maria who never makes you worry about anything.

Best hotel in naxos

A real traditional Cycladic hotel with a great location, 50 m from a lovely beach, 150 m from the old town. Very clean with a great flourishing big balcony with a sea view. Maria was very worm, happy and welcoming. Out of 4 hotels in out Greece island trip that were fancier we liked it the most especially because of his Greece traditional style.

Beautiful traditional Cyclidic hotel with a great location in Naxos.

I've just got back from a marvellous week staying at the Hotel Elizabeth! The hotel is a real hidden gem, tucked away on a quiet street just a minute's walk away from the lovely St George beach, a perfect location if you ask me! The rooms were well sized, with little balconies were you could sit and eat breakfast in the morning breeze. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were also great, but what really made the hotel amazing was the lovely owner Maria, who's constant friendliness and willingness to help you was heartwarming. We'll definitely be back in the future!

Excellent Stay!

This is the third time I have stayed at Hotel Elizabeth in almost as many years and it never fails to delight. I first discovered it in 1983 when I spent the summer on Naxos, when Maria's parents were running the hotel. This time my family and I had the whole of the top floor which meant we had the roof terrace overlooking the beach all to ourselves. From the warmth of Maria's welcome to the location which is 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes' walk into the centre of the town, it's a perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday. To experience authentic Greek hospitality, rather than a more sterile resort environment, look no further than Hotel Elizabeth. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger "I'll be back!!"
