This is a wonderful place to stay at a great price. It's situated at just about the highest point in Plaka – everything in town is just a short walk downhill, and there's a beautiful old church where you can watch the sunset just a few more minutes uphill. We found it peaceful, and enjoyed the beautiful view from the patio every morning. 

One thing to note is that non-local cars aren't allowed in this part of town. If you have a rental car, you'll need to park at the lot named "Free Parking, Plaka" on Google Maps, which is an easy ten minute walk away. The view is worth it!

Best service from the friendliest staff. Cannot fault any of the staff, the bar man, the waitresses the owner - all so welcoming, they really make you feel at home. We enjoyed a night of cocktails, magners, shots and of course pinsa. Loved it so much we came back every night for afternoon drinks while we were in Plaka.

It’s a must visit, even if it’s to pick up a delicious take away cocktail on your way to the castle for sunset. I recommend the Apple cocktail!!

Amazing experience. Everyone was so frieendly and pleasant. The view is golden and the Piazza Castello rosé wine was fantastic got 2 bottles. Its also next to the best sunset viewing spot so makes it very handy when youre rushing back to see the the sun. Definitely coming back!

Piazza Castello was one of the highlights of our trip in Milos - Yiannis and his father were the kindest of all people there, always there for advice, answers, tips and opinions. The place itself is gorgeous and has a breathtaking view on the centre of Plaka, with a famous castle nearby perfect for sunset with a couple of beers, as well as a nice natury path leading to the beach at a 15-20min walk. Very quiet. Efkharisto Yiannis, until we meet again!

Yiannis and his father are seriously the nicest people ever!  They are very helpful and informative and always there to assist you in all of your needs.  The rooms were nice and cool, very clean.  This hotel is on the top of Plaka close to restaurants.  The castle is very close.  The parking is down the hill which you have to hike the hill to get there but it is not to bad.  The terrace has beautiful sunset views.

Yiannis and his girlfriend are really amazing. Both very accommodating and always there to assist with whatever is needed. It's more like a family home run hotel which is exactly the vibe we were looking for in Greece. We really liked it and look forward staying there soon again! Thanks Yiannis for everything! 

We were lucky to be able to stay at Piazza Castello as Yannis and his wonderful girlfriend has just opened this secret and beautiful little guest house which made our visit to Milos really perfect! Loved everything and will be back for sure!

Gorgeous view of the island , so peaceful. The owners are very nice and helpful with everything. The sunset you can see from the hotel and sunrise.
Bathroom has no shower curtain so hard to keep it dry. 
Right in the center of plaka a great place to stay.

Piazza Castello is a lovely pension, in a great location at Chora, run by a super friendly Italian Greek couple, who went out of their way to make our stay as nice as possible. Ok, our room was small, ok the bathroom was basic, but we still had a great stay. Hiighly recommended.  ps by all means go to dinner in Tripiti, at walking distance, Barriello Restaurant is amazing, and Ergira is very good.

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is situated on the top of the hill in plaka, 1 minute away from all the restaurants and shops but quiet enough not to hear it. Parking is available at the bottom of
Plaka so it's a 5-10 min climb up the hill. Staff was very friendly. The room is nothing special, the shower (like many Greek hotels) didn't have a curtain causing the entire bathroom to be soaked after a shower. Also the noise from the vent was super annoying. The internet is very slow and the breakfast they served was a joke, not even fresh fruits. For what you pay a night this place really needs to up their game!
