We have known the Greek family who own this hotel for over 20 years and have stayed in this accommodation time and time again as we have always thoroughly enjoyed our time there.  This hotel is currently listed with Serbian Travel Agent but there are a couple of rooms that are available for private rent still.  The hotel is what you might class as 'small and friendly'. it is pleasantly decorated and homely. it is exceptionally clean and the owners take pride in ensuring guests are satisfied and enjoy their stay. there is a lovely pool area and Jacuzzi and the hotel is situated just a short walking distance from the centre of the village but far away to enable its guests to have a good night's sleep.  The kitchenette is well equipped - many of the Serbian families who visit the hotel find it adequate to cook family meals.  Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. we always ensure we visit when we are holidaying and always feel extremely welcome - a credit to the owners and their families.

In relation to 'KAZZ3O's' review I would firstly just like to point out that the Vicky Apartments do sell some top notch food (snacks eg sandwich's, toasties and even meals including spag bol, salads and omelettes so basically all taste buds are catered for!) Plus, there is a quiz night every Thursday night with the rep playing the role of quiz master so there is entertainment (and you might even be able to persuade Leo to get some Greek dancing going!) Oh and also, music is played round the pool and in the bar area. The sheets are changed regularly along with the towels and the bins are emptied daily! The pool is just the right size too! Did we actually stay at the same place????

The owners of the Vicky are brill and they will do anything for you! The rooms are just as the brochure/internet describes them and so I dont know what everybody is complaining about to be honest because they are lovely and the showers are nice and powerful!
Whilst staying at the vicky you can get a safety deposit box to keep all your valuables in and you can get air conditioning (which I must say is lovely especially if you are there during a heat wave) which is priced at 30 euros per week so you cant grumble with that... a bargain if I say so myself!

Basically, everything about the Vicky Apartments is fantastic so much so I didnt want to come home! I would certainly recommend everybody to forget about the negative comments and just book and have a brill time!!!!

Absolutely Fantastic!

Having stayed at the Vicky Apartments for the last 9 years I am very surprised at the negative attitude by the recent family regarding the bed linen.  We have always found the beds and towels spotless also the bins etc are emptied EVERY day.  The owners are exceptionally  helpful and if they bothered to ask for extra toilet rolls they would have been given them without question.  As far as we could see they had no intention of using any of the facilities at the Vicky as they we always in the Tropical first thing in the morning until last thing in the evening.  As to the mention of no food available what a load of rubbish - the bar snacks are great all freshly made to order and excellent value for money.  If they bothered to spend any time there they would have known this for themselves.  This hotel was recommended to us 9 years ago and what a find excellent holiday's year after year (twice this year) what better recommendation could you ask for.  GIVE IT A TRY YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.

Pool and garden OK , other than that very disapointed . No hot water , no aspirator in the kitchen , no towels at all . Owners not polite and very cold. Distance from the beach is 300 meters .

POOR

We went here for my honeymoon as we didn't have the most amount of money and we didn't want to leave our little girl at home so took her with us and this was my worst nitemare we had two weeks booked and I got ill in the first week and I actually used our money from gifts from our wedding and paid for flights home a week early!!! There is nothing at the hotel it rained whilst we were there and they Neva did anything to pick ppls moods up the only thing gud to happen was the one nite they did actually do a quiz we won a meal for 2 at a local restaurant and that was a nice evening out! The rooms are basic but ok the hotel is not to far from the central bars and shops but even that I don't like all the cars just drive where people are walking it's a nitemare I would never come bak to this hotel or this place I am so gutted we wasted all our money on visiting and escaping this place and hotel x

Don't bother wasting your money

We stayed at the Vicky for two weeks, myself , my daughter and my 6 year old grandson, NEVER AGAIN, the room was clean and spacious, the shower had a terrible smell, but we didn't complain.the rooms are only cleaned every other day, the sheets were not changed until we had been there 7 days, with only two nights of our holiday left I politely asked for clean sheets and was told they get changed once a week that is all thomson pay them for, I rang thomson help line and they got in touch with the hotel and requested clean sheets, BIG MISTAKE, my daughter was verbally attacked by the greek owner, shouting that is costs 13 euros to change the sheets, it all got very heated and he threatened to kick us out, at this point my daughter asked them to come to the room to smell the shower, one of the lady owners came and started to scream and shout even though she could see my grandson was distraught and sobbing,  she then complained that we had left the balcony in a mess and she had to clean it, a few biscuit crumbs and cups on the table, shame, we were then ignored by them all for the rest of our stay. So  please be aware, the showers stink, dont expect clean sheets more than once during your fortnights stay no matter how hot the weather is, the thomson rep told me to hang the sheets out to dry and then put them back on the bed!!! please keep the room and balcony clean because they are only cleaned every other day, oh and you might have to buy your own toilet paper like we had to, and the pool is very small, I have seen bigger puddles and the die hard regular guests use the childrens pool not leaving room for the children. The staff are rude and aggressive and not very welcoming. We will never stop there again,
