Went exploring the island yesterday this was the first place we stopped at, really friendly staff. Stayed for lunch which was amazing, the pizzas are massive and the paella was lovely. 

Right on the beach and the Mythos is ice cold which always helps!

Great spot for lunch

We are very content, the hotel has all you need. The people here are very nice, accomodation is clean, sea is in the near, the breakfast  is simply, but you can choose. We spend here beautiful moments .Perfect holiday!

Great time in Vergos

Nice hotel, great restaurant, amazing beaches around. 
The staff at the hotel and restaurant was the best ever.
Getting a boat helps you see almost deserted beaches and swim in turquoise waters.
Still longing for the experience.:)

The Vourvourou experience

Amazing place,delicious and fresh food;people are very kind and they are talking to you,make you feel good.
The room hotel has an amazing sea view,is very clean.
The beach and the sea are fabulous ;we will certain return next year !

Amazing place

Very nice hotel with a beautiful beach, the water is very good for children’s . The food it’s very good. It has two playgrounds for children’s (one on water).  If you want to go on the nearby island (with incredible beaches) you will find boats to rent very close.

Best place for staining with children

Nice place for family dinner. Kids will be excited with half-meter pizza "el gousto". The size is not the only outstanding feature, it's also well cooked. 
Highly recommend "seafood paella for 2", it's really for a company of 3-4 adults, contains extra-fresh langoustines, mussels, octopuses. 
The pecfect finish of dinner- chiefs' ice cream  complement .

Beach restaurant review

Very good mid range hotel, extremely clean and well maintained with a fabulous garden. has it's own private beach with an excellent beach bar, also has a pool, not large but well maintained. It's a family business with excellent attention to details, would choose it again anytime :) Great for families with kids!

There are few buildings. The rooms in central building are average level.
The rooms in two new buildings on the side are very nice but a bit away from the beach.
Anyway every room is not more than a minute, minute and half from the sand and the place is very clean and have very polite and friendly stuff.
Beach bar is very nice. The stuff is one of the best that I ever seen. You can order everything from your chair on the sand. Every thing from plain water to fresh calamari and fresh fish comes with a smile and it's made very tasty.
Breakfast is not the best, but usually you should not expect a lot from meal included in your package in Greece.
The place is very good for a family vacation  with small kids because of service and sea water without any waves. If somebody don't want to hear screaming and splashing all day should avoid hotel beach and go to Karibi beach or other beaches close to that facility. If kids doesn't bother you or you have kids too, this is one of the best places that I ever been.
Internet connection is slow.
Parking is covered with a sunroof.
Pool is small but clean.
Restorant is nice and big.
Garden is small but well maintained.

Very nice place!

Stayed there as a family with two kids in a studio apartment located in one of the new buildings, top floor, with a huge terrace overlooking the garden and sea.
Decently sized room, serviced every other day, good, efficient A/C, ample, covered parking.
Very nice, well kept garden, a large pool with kids' basin (only negative is its positioning right next to the restaurant, so splashing around could certainly disturb people dinning at nearby tables).
Beach is well organized and clean. Sea in front is just ok as the bottom is a bit muddy with large areas of sea grass, so the water, although clean enough, does not have that amazing turqoise color as some of the other beaches nearby. It is, nevertheless, excellent for kids as it's shallow.
To the far right there is a boat mooring area but no smell of petrol, no disturbance from boats coming in or going out, it was all rather quiet and at a safe distance, plus the bathing area is safely marked and separated by the boating channel with buoys.

With the pandemic and all, the hotel and beach nevver seemed occupied more than 60-70% max, so it didn t feel crowded.

Staff & services were good, (thanks Eleni, Dimitri, Iorgos and Foula!), food good too.
Supermarket nearby, very convenient. For diversity, two good restaurants right and left of the hotel (paris and gorgona). Boat rental some 1km away to the centet of village (there is one next to paris restaurant but boats are a bit tired). Renting a boat offers access to countless fantastic beaches in the area.

We reccommend it and would return to Vergis Hotel.

A very good choice of accommodation

I visited this hotel restaruant two times for lunch with my family and both of them food was very good. Pizza is thin with enough variety of ingrediants, kalamary was fresch and well prepered, Greek salad very good. Price for food is similar to other restaurants in Vourvourvu.
