We stayed at Poseidon Studios for one week in July/August 2023. We picked the studios because of it's brilliant position on what I find the most beautiful part of Georgioupolis beach. You can walk barefoot to the beach, where the taverna and sunbeds belonging to Poseidon is. Yes, the rooms are super basic and yes, the breakfast is simple, but there are plenty of other high end hotels nearby to pick between. If you want a relaxing holiday directly on the beach and are not fussy on the standard, this is a fantastic option. And that for a very cheap price! Loved it so much we have booked it also for summer 2024. Thank you! Odette and Thomas

Th best spot on the whole of Georgioupolis Beach.

Good news first. Location is beautiful. Now the bad news. Hotel didn't know I was coming, didn't give me the breakfast I had paid for, and asked me to pay cash for a stay that I had already paid for. Room was very budget end, and wasn't cleaned during my stay. Staff really need to work on their P.R. and organisational skills. Other reviews are far more scathing, and I can understand why.

Average would be generous

The rooms are up to normal Greek standards, clean, good size, rather dated but with all amenities. Wifi works on veranda facing sea, rather slow. Water hot. The sea view rooms are good and quiet, the rooms facing away from the sea are close to a busy main road - much road noise. It is a good 20 minute walk to town centre. The best thing about the rooms was the location, but only for those facing the sea.  Did not eat at the Poseidon so cannot comment on the food.

Lovely location on long sandy beach

We booked our stay 5 weeks in advance. 1 week before our departure date the owner calls me saying that there will not be any room for us. There was no reason, no explanation!! the only thing she said was that there are plenty of other places where we can book holiday. Our stay was planned for the 1 week of August - pick of the session - there was barely anything available and if so - 10 times more expensive then Poseidon. 
She left us with our plane tickets bought and ruined holiday!!! 

I strongly discourge anyone from booking a stay in that place!!!!

Stay away from that place!!!!

stayed a week at the hotel, the room was dirty and no handy .... the food was average and expensive .. the most important of all .the behavior of responsible Katerina was unacceptable, offensive and ironic .. .. CAUTION! !!!

Ι wait much longer

My daughter and I knew this would not be a luxury hotel and booked due to beach location. 
Unfortunately the attitude and rudeness of the owner Katrina meant we would never return there. Made to feel if we were a nuisance and inconvenience instead of a paying customer. 
What a shame - a bit of paint and cleanliness and a new  owner would have made this a great budget location . Would never return.

Disappointment

It was my second 2-weeks stay at Posidon Studios. Apartments are located just on a beautiful, long, sandy beach. Rooms are comfortable and staff is very friendly. Tasty cretan dishes in the taverna on the beach. I hope I will be back!
