Hotel Zeus

Travelled with my 2 teenagers. Firstly, fantastic owners who are always prepared to ensure your holiday is great. Hotel Zeus is spotlessly clean, lovely towels and bed linen regularly refreshed. Well appointed, equipped and decorated rooms with fantastic shower room with endless supply of hot water and also has a hairdryer. Perfect balcony overlooking pool area which is also spotlessly clean. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas always enough available and never overcrowded, often had the pool area to ourselves and well priced drinks available at the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, fresh every day with lovely meats, cakes. Fruit and lots more . The Greek yogurt and honey was our favourite. ..! We were given foil and paper bags to wrap the food in so had more than enough for lunch. Very good value indeed. Zeus is in a fabulous location, 5 minutes to the centre of beautiful, traditional streets with an abundance of quaint shops and stalls. Lovely bars and restaurants, always made to feel welcome. The beach is beautiful, steps down to it then short walk via a quiet road to the clean, sandy/shingle beach. Sun beds on offer €25 each but that includes food and drinks up to that price then just pay the difference. Not overpriced considering on the beach. I really recommend Lemonis bakery 2 minutes walk from Zeus and Barlmeros in the centre of Afitos. Coffee and Crepes shop also amazing…. In short if you want a fabulous hotel in a traditional Greek village Zeus is for you. Already booked for next July….
