We were in Hamburg for a convention at the Hamburg Exhibition Hall. I selected the Hotel Amsterdam based on its location. We have never stayed in a place quite like this before where each floor is a different hotel, but it worked out perfectly for us. Each room is different, we had a lovely room (#21) with a 12 floot ceiling, chandelier, and beautiful iron bed. Breakfast was included, and provided us with an opportunity to mingle with other hotel guests. Sven was on duty when we arrived. He greeted us by name whenever we returned and was very helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, and answering our questions. We loved the neighborhood which was very peaceful and quiet. We were able to walk to the Exhibition Hall, but also had easy access to the HVV, so were able to get wherever we wanted quite easily.
