Hirth

The wife and I stayed at the hotel Hirth this Easter for a week of skiing in the Bavarian mountains. We arrived by train to find there was no snow and our main luggage did not make the flight and would arrive in 2 days time. I began to wonder if we had made the right decision to stay in Eibsee until we were greeted by Regina and her lovely family. Regina became a second mother and was always there to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The hotel is a very traditional Bavarian affair which we were very happy about and situated at the foot of the zugspitze mountain range which is amazing to see whist enjoying breakfast. When the luggage and snow arrived Regina kindly helped is to organise ski passes and places to eat. We found that some of the best food around was served in the hotel, cooked by Regina's husband Hubert. We had a wonderful time at the hotel Hirth and cannot recommend it highly enough. Regina even drove us to the train station on our return home. Brilliant. We will definitely be staying there again and advice anyone to do the same.
