I come to Berlin 8 times a year - ALWAYS stay here. not the best hotel or location but its 32 euro. rooms are nice. quiet and double bed. 

The s bhan 3 mins away (springful) and the m8 goes right outside hotel to central station. 

It is the best balance of decent hotel/location with price I have found in Berlin. Do eat before coming to the hotel though, there are places but a bit of a walk to eat.

I always stay here when in berlin

I paid 70 Euro per night for a 2-night stay in Berlin. It's very close to public transport, so you can easily jump on a train to the city center.
The staff was very nice in letting me check in long before the actual check in time, because my room happened to be available already.
The shower was not ideal, as it's small and it was a pain to get (and keep) the right temperature. Apart from that, I do recommend staying at this hotel. :)

Decently budget for Berlin

Staff was friendly, room was well cleaned. Heating was a bit underpowered, but given some time, the temperature was fine and well adjustable.Public transport nearby (5 min. walk), parking places available. The hotel is surrounded by schools and office-buildings, but it all looks well maintained. For fun, go into the city-centre! We have already stayed a couple of times before; the hotel has no thrills but it is decent and quite affordable. This time we stayed for four nights and have no complaints. Except that we consider breakfast a bit expensive; we skipped it and we catered for ourselves. Not difficult with Aldi and Lidl close by. 

A no-thrill, but decent place to stay

The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful, bringing me a space heater when the weather suddenly got colder. The reception staff was kind enough to accept and hold a DHL package for me and to politely  greet me everyday. 

A great time on a budget.

Quite a few problems encountered on this visit. Firstly the card payments machine was broken and wouldn’t be replaced any time soon. Secondly the WiFi on the fourth floor was useless. When reporting this on the first evening the reaction from the man on duty was a ‘couldn’t care less’ shrug! The room itself was fine and the lady on duty in the morning was more helpful.

Lots Not Working!

Having seen other comments on this have decoded to add my own.
Usually happy with all Ibis hotels - budget or otherwise -this is the worst one.
As others have stated staff at reception were not very welcoming. The shower was either very dirty (some black mould to be seen between tiles) and /or the drains were smelly.
It had been a long day and arrived there late so we put up with it for one night (luckily if sitting on the bed you couldn't smell anything.
Also the paperwork was left in the room for you to fill in (usually this is done when checking in) but casually left in the room.
We only noticed it when heading out in the morning.



Convienient location

It is not really convenient location for tourist, seldom dinning place around this hotel, good things are bus and subway station are not far away.  Just fit personal business trip. Hotel charge are fare, you can select smoking or non smoking room.

Anyway, it is budget hotel

It's in a commercial area so not much to see/do/eat&drink in immediate area, BUT there is a tram stop right outside and Sbahn station 5 minutes walk away with very frequent services so you're in the city centre in 20 mins. Lidl & Aldi 5 mins walk away. Very basic (no toiletries or tea/coffee facilities in room) but clean, plenty of towels. Wifi and AC not working. At the price, you can't complain.

cheap and cheerful

One night stay 7/1/2019. Located close to a station on Berlin's S bahn and a tram stop outside. Area is more residential than tourist but not a problem for a one night stay as passing through the area. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Hotel felt a little tired as not as smart as some IBIS Budget hotels (eg Dresden). Several vending machines on 1st floor for snacks but there didn't appear to be any restaurants nearby , although I was checking in aftr 9pm. The main issues I had were that being tall there was only a small single duvet for the double bed. Not experienced that before (always been a double duvet and being tall it barely covered me. The other issue was a drain odour, not strong enough to get back out of bed and go to reception and complain. Unfortunately I had to leave in a rush in the morning, so wasn't able to report it to reception on my way out. Will have to remember to take an air freshener if I use it again! Despite this I would consider using it again due to its good transport links and perhaps was unlucky with my room.

One night stay

The place is really far from the center, about 40 minutes by bus or train. The cleaning of the place is not the best one. And there is no ventilation in the toilet. 
The place is ok for a Ibis budget, but they definitely could try to take a better care of the place.
