Very beautiful small and particulary hotel with a special charm, a small green oasis in close to the center of Berlin. there is a green inner courtyard to relax . Just the best after an exhilarating day of city sightseeing! The breakfast was very good & for me very perfect - because I don't like big breakfastrooms - without any charme! They have 50m from the hotel a parking area, which is only for the guest of this hotel. Very friendly staff! When I stay in the future in Berlin again - I will come back!

Beautiful small charming hotel in Berlin!

With my wife, we went for a short sightseeing tour to Berlin and stayed four days at the Garden Living Hotel just 10 minutes’ walk from the Central Railways Station, which can be easily reached by the FEX train from the BER Airport. The reason for choosing this hotel was that a few years ago my wife and my daughter stayed already here and were very satisfied. The tram and underground stations were very near; therefore, we could easily reach all the places we wanted to visit (Brandenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Berlin Cathedral, Alexanderplatz, Reichstag Building, etc.). Our room was on the 2nd floor, clean, large and nicely furnished. The hotel has a cozy boutique atmosphere. The staff was amicable and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Garden Living Hotel is great value for the price! We will return.

Garden Living Hotel Berlin is great value for the price! 

A haven in the vibrant centre of Berlin. Beautiful hotel with wooden floors and an old townhouse feel. Staff very welcoming - especially Carolina who took time to point us in the right direction for the sights. The hotel is only a 20 minute walk to Brandenburger Tor by the river, passing the German parliament. There are shorter walks to good restaurants. I recommend La Buvette (great wine & steak frites) on ChauseeStrasse or Schnitzelei Mitte between Novalis & Chausee Strassen. On Schiffbaudamm there is Ganymed, David Bowie's regular haunt. Looking forward to our next visit to Berlin & Garden Living!

A relaxing place of calm in the centre of Berlin. 

Lovely little boutique hotel. Had a very enjoyable stay in the best room with balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard garden. Very large room with good quality furniture and furnishings. Friendly and helpful staff 
Good location once you get your barring. 

Worried about staying in any other hotel room now as nothing will beat this. 

What a gem of a find. Off a main street but you'd never know it once you enter the beautifully tranquil rear garden, an oasis of calm complete with summer house and two resident ginger cats!. Breakfast quite expensive but varied. Free coffee and tea at all times was an added bonus. Staff v friendly and accommodating, even switching our room when we asked for a bath instead of a shower. Perfect place to unwind after hours of city-centre walking! Metro and tram only 5 minutes walk away so great location

Veritable Oasis

I am catching up with some reviews, so this refers to a visit some months ago.

Garden Living offers spacious, well appointed apartments on a  B&B basis.  The building is 10 minutes walk from the main railway station, and just a couple of minutes from the tram and U-bahn giving easy access to all of Berlin.   

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the apartment had a spacious bathroom and small basic kitchen, with a comfortable sofa in the main room.    An ideal base to visit Berlin from.

Very comfortable apartments

Just got back from a weekend Berlin to visit the Christmas markets, and the other attractions. Berlin is a great city, but Garden Living makes it even better. We stayed in S3 which js actually a studio I think. The room was FANTASTIC. Nice big bed which was lovely. The room was better then expected. It was decorated with a lovely touch. This is not just your average hotel. This is much better. 

Staff is very accommodating and helps with any questions you may have. Breakfast s a must and was very delicious. Parking was available also. Wifi was great. Had no problems getting connected. Check in was a breeze and we were on our way into Berlin city in no time. There are plenty of options for getting around via public transport. The hotel itself is neatly located near the Natuurkunde Museum. We purchased day passes for the trains, metro and buses. Believe me that is the best way to get around.

Do yourself a favor and book this hotel if you 0lan on visiting Berlin. You just cannot go wrong with this place!



Fantastic stay in december

Excellently located in a quiet area just 10mins walk from the main train station and opposite the Natural History Museum. Very friendly and helpful service with great tips given whenever we asked for advice. Room was nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and the garden setting is lovely and peaceful.

Quaint and lovely

This place is an absolute gem, fabulous rooms, friendly staff and beautiful little garden.
Stayed for 3 nights, our rooms were tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Although we were at the front of the hotel we were not disturbed by noise from the road at all. The rooms are very spacious, lovely interior design and super bathroom with hairdryer that worked, large magnifying mirror, lots of towels and shower gel provided. For the same price as a pokey room in a chain hotel my room turned out to be almost a suite. I had a large living area with kitchenette and a bedroom with bathroom. I only booked a standard room. My companion had an equally big room with kitchenette off to one side and bathroom. Oh and 2 TVs!
In addition to the lovely rooms there is a courtyard garden on the ground floor with a lovely conservatory with seating for a quiet time after sightseeing. The reception area has coffee and tea making facilities with a choice of biscuits, chocolates and various other stuff. There are also cold drinks and alcohol on offer in this area.
Breakfast was very good. Seating area overlooking the garden is the best. Choice of breads, pastries, jams, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts and cereals. All very fresh and replenished frequently. Infinitely better than breakfast at the KaDeWe Buffet which we tried one morning. Very good value for money at 9 Euros.
If I ever go back to Berlin I would definitely stay here again, I can't recommend it highly enough,  one of the best hotels I have stayed in recent years.
