5 star home away from home. Artist’s touch to every detail: from the rustic door handles to the tiling in the rain shower to the wide oak floors. Breakfast was as much a treat to the eyes as to the taste buds. Lovely restaurant round the corner for dinner, Owners couldn’t be nicer and bed couldn’t be comfier. What more can you ask for?

5 star home away from home

Fantastic place with so much character and amazing artwork and metalwork.Very welcoming host and hostess who are rightly proud of what they have created.Superb room with delightful bathroom (so good to have a bath) but the the shower was excellent.Peaceful garden with swimming pool.Lovely breakfast with fresh local produce.This is how an establishment should be run.A great credit to them.Highly recommended.

Just wonderful

From arriving to leaving Owners Vincente and Phillipe were welcoming and attentive.  The room we stayed in was just fabulous.  There are not enough words to describe it.  Vincente makes the art and a lot of the room fittings which are just awesome.  Stay here... you will not be disappointed   Luxury at its very best and not too expensive.  There are not many places that make us go WOW when we walk in.

Just Perfect

We stayed here overnight as we had a late dinner nearby, and were simply blown away by this place.  Everything about it was a delight, from the layout to the spacious rooms to the original art displayed across the house.  The hosts could not have been any nicer, and the cozy breakfast included in the price in the beautiful dinning room was simply icing on the cake.  Highly, highly recommend it!

Perfect in every sense

We stayed at the Maison D'Artgile on route back from our trip to Italy. Zimmershiem is a small village close to the city of Mullhouse. On arriving we were greeted by the owners Phillipe and Vincente who were both absolutely lovely. As they weren't fully booked they gave us a tour of the rooms so we could pick which one we wanted.  The rooms are situated in there converted barn which sits within the grounds of there own property. The gardens are well kept and the pool is cool and also spotless. The property is embellished with beautiful sculptures which have been created by Vincente the owner who is an accomplished sculptor of over 25 years. 
The room was fantastic with tasteful decor and lots of space. We had the room next to the poor which came with a big screen TV and door straight to the pool. Breakfast was fabulous which topped off a wonderful stay. Would thoroughly recommend this B&B to anyone.

A wonderfull B&B experience 

The house is beautifully renovated in traditional style, enhanced by ingenious appliances and imaginative works of art created by Vincente.
The accommodation is original and practically well conceived and the hosts are kind and helpful.
The absolute top is the breakfast buffet, you almost feel embarrassed by the quantitiy, the quality and the variety of dishes - a true delight.

Tradition and hospitality

Stunning quality of woodwork, decoration and interiors. It was -2*C outside and yet the room was cosy and absolutely comfortable. 

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They recommended us a restaurant in Habsheim 6 kms away called la Table de Louis which was another superb place. 

Excellent bed and linens. This gîtes doesn't have a restaurant but serves the most lovely breakfast buffet. The colors, the presentations were simply stunning. There is tasteful artwork and sculptures all over the house.

Incroyable belle place. Must visit😊

Excellent B&B located near Mulhouse in a small village, result of a very careful refurbishment of an old barn converted in a perfectly furnished 5-room B&B. Modern facilities, exceptional decoration using artwork made by the landlady. Excellent breakfast served by the owners.
