Villa Bellagio Hôtels & Résidences

First can I say that the reviews that myself and my friend read prior to staying at Villa Bellagio were not really justified in our opinion. It really put us off to the point of us considering cancelling our holiday to Paris. We came to be ‘real’ tourists as a pre-university holiday. For the small price that you pay to stay here, the return on your investment is absolutely fine. Although I would describe this more as a motel as it is more of the kind of place you’d just sleep in and go out into the city. We checked in and the gentleman checking us in was lovely, he gave us our key and code for the WiFi and told us where our room would be. The room was large and spacious, set out as a twin as requested & included kitchen facilities with a nice bathroom with bath and shower. The main issue with this hotel is the lack of air con in the rooms. Now ordinarily this wouldn’t be an issue in Paris but we stayed around the time of a great heatwave with temperatures hitting 35/38°C. The high temperature did make our stay somewhat uncomfortable. We were so hot we didn’t even get into our beds we laid atop of them. The hotel is accessible with a bus stop right outside that will take you to Laplace RER. Which serves the city. All in all I found the hotel absolutely fine I’ve stayed in all sorts of places most of them being 4/5* I also work in 5* AA holiday accommodation. Nowhere near the worst place I’ve stayed, would definitely consider staying again given the low cost.
