Stayed 1 night in the separate cottage, not the manoir as expected. This is expensive for a motel type room with guests parking directly outside and leaving at 6am. The floor was dirty but otherwise well equipped. Sadly my enquiry about road noise was incorrectly answered. It is not quiet...but the host says if you close windows it's ok!!
Food was good and well presented. However the host failed to answer the manor door for me to get breakfast.. because I was late! So deciding I couldn't reach her to pay as well, I decided I'd send a cheque. Upon departure she closed the electric gates, not caring if she hit my car doing so. I stopped in time and walked back. It was clear she doesn't like British guests and although my evening meal was 15 mins late, which I accepted without issue, she was annoyed that I showed up for breakfast 15 mins later than planned.
I waited in the most outside for 10 mins but she didnt care.
I paid by card after being stung for my nights stay and the only way to be allowed to leave!
Her manner is all wrong and she shouldn't be in hospitality. Shame as I'm looking for a regular stop over in this area.

My advice is avoid, especially if you like breakfast, customer service and are British!

Shame about the host's attitude and the road noise

The place they put us in looked like a converted garage. It was clean but nothing like the photos shown on the internet - we did NOT stay in a manor house!! It was rather like Motel 6 in North America but cleaner. We couldn’t find where to have breakfast so didn’t even get that. This was an expensive stay at €91 especially since we were there for about 16 hours. Definitely not as advertised and way too expensive for what you received.

Won’t go again

We were enroute to Versailles and made a stop there after a phone call reservation : no credit card asked, and just by requesting (and given the owner could do it ...) we "checked in" at noon time. What a difference with chain hotels and their set of rules.
Room was modern, clean, simple, but large enough, comfy 140cm bed, and very quiet although very easy to reach from A13, Nice sunday AM breakfast, french style, served in the manor. Given the opportunity, we'll come back. Cheerful and professional hostess.

Simple - but quiet and flexible

We stayed in a separate small row of rooms separate from the main house, it was private and peaceful, and the door opened directly onto the garden. The room was clean and freshly decorated with a kettle and a supply of tea and coffee. A nice touch was the provision of some bottled water. Breakfast was served at the main house, a short walk from the room. The owner was very friendly and would sit and chat over breakfast. The place was a bit difficult to fine as it was not recognised by the sat nav, we ended up putting in the map co-ordinates to find it. Getting in and out could be tricky as it is right off a busy highway, but once in the gate the setting is worth it. One downside was no air conditioning.
