This was the second Hipotel hotel in Paris that we lived in. The only plus of these hotels is the price. Everything else sucks. Dirty furniture, Wallpaper on the walls, something must be broken. The owners of the hotel don`t repair anything, apparently expecting that the hotel will fall apart naturally. I wish we tourists didn't end up under the rubble. Cherry on the cake-paid Wi-Fi! We stayed here one night and then moved to another hotel.

The only plus is the price...

The service in the morning is super good and the receptionist is going more than the extra mile to provide a nice, comfortable and memorable stay.  Unfortunately the night shift is terrible by the book service. With no effort whatsoever to provide comfort i spent a terrible night becauae of him!!

Horrible night service

Stayed here for two nights, quite a distance to the city centre. Room was small and not much space to walk around inside. The bathroom was so tiny you can't even move. Worse, there's no lift so you gotta carry the luggage up using narrow stairs. Will not recommend this place.

Small room with tiny bathroom

I spent a few nights at this small "hotel" in September, choosing it because it was conveniently located relative to the attractions of central Paris. Location was the only advantage to the place. It was cramped and dirty, with a reception area that looked more like a pawn shop than a hotel. The bathroom was particularly unhealthy in appearance. The internet, which would have cost extra, was not working. 

Having said this, the staff were helpful and the location was great. I had no problems with the neighbourhood, as some travellers have reported.

NOT the Place to Stay in Paris

We werent expecting much after reading the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised! Our room (19) had a beautiful view looking out onto Parisian buildings and the room was clean and a good size. The staff were friendly and we had no problems. Location is next to the metro. The walls are quite thin and one night i had to use earplugs after being woken up by two loud Americans but this isnt the fault of the hotel. We’d 100% stay here again the next time we visit paris!

The receptionist was very rude when we first arrived, there was some kind of mould in the bathroom, would recommend bringing flip flops, saw a mouse so we had to use the hotel blanket to block gap under door into hallway.

The worst hotel I've ever been. Bad neighbourhood - screaming women in the night, a lot of police and dangerous people outside. I will never comeback. For 10 more euros I booked much more good hotel. Luckly I'm happy that I cancelled my booking for this terrible place and one night in that place was the worst part of my jurney to Paris.

Scary place!

Absolutely disgusting hotel, not what was shown when I had booked. No elevators so had to climb a mountain of stairs which looked liked they had never been hoovered before, completely flithy. Our room was small but again not clean at all, especially the bathroom. The front door wasn't secure & we were woken up in the middle of the night to people next door to us screaming and physically fighting, I didn't feel safe to the point I didn't want to fall back to sleep. The Reception staff are extremely rude when asking for directions multiple times we were ignored and he kept pointing to the door to get rid of us. Don't stay here its a downer on your whole trip!

Would rather of slept on the streets of Paris!

So we arrived late on a Monday night and straight away our hearts sank. 
The place looks like the entrance to a public toilet! 
We were told our room was down the corridor to the right. So without a door in the front of the building it feels like anyone can walk of the street and band on your door. We opens the door to find a half painted!?!? Wreck! Holes in the walls, door and floor.  There was this yellow blanket on the bed that was threadbare. The toilet ( if you can call it that) didn’t even have a toilet seat attached and was absolutely filthy s**t stains everywhere! And you couldn’t even open the door fully to even go in as the bed was in the way! The size of the room is the leaf of the problems! We complained and got upgraded! And it was the exact same instead you was up the top of a building.. the electricity would flash on and off and I have never felt so unsafe somewhere! If you are contemplating staying here please don’t. They won’t give you a full refund! 
I would of rather slept on the streets of Paris than this dive!! Shouldn’t even be called a hotel! It’s more like a squat!

Horrendous

The hotel may be dirty ,old ,needs renovation ,all that you could accept in a way or another but to be robbed by the hotel admin this is the new thing which never happened with me before
I made a prepayed booking through Agoda, on check in ,they denied that they received the payment rudely , and I knew they do that with others ,I was obliged to repay as it was winter ,temperature almost zero degree ,traveling over night..
