﻿While the door and walls were impressively insulated,
The ceiling was not and so lots of noise from above.
Bathroom was tiny by any measure (and while updated, the shower curtain smelled bad).
Bad WiFi even in the “lobby”.
Breakfast is unremarkable (baking goods could be better, coffee was excellent some days, less on others, not a piece of vegetable, fruits were “tired”).

The hotel was very clean and really easy to get to from the train station.  The best part was the people working there.  I needed to change my room in right after I checked in because I needed to make space for a family member who could not get home.  The front desk took care of us without an issue.  

Great service, clean, near the train and the downtown

Room was a good size for two separate beds and a spacious Bathroom with a tub. Comfy beds. B'fast was okay. Nothing bad nor anything special. Staff was pleasant and cooperative.Location was good as not too near the crowds and yet near enough to walk to the train station.

Great Location

The hotel is in an old house and it has several rooms on each floor. There is a lift. The reception is on the first floor. We had a room that was very small but good for one night, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom is very small but the shower is good, with soap dispenser. There is good wifi. Breakfast is rich and various. The location is perfect, few minutes’ walk from the centre. The staff is kind.

Good for one night

The location of the hotel is good, placed between the train station and the city center, but the room was extremely hot in September (street view) and due to the noise could not even leave the window open.

Nice hotel but very hot

Our beds were comfy and huge, and there was no disturbing noise during the night - in other words, we had a good nights sleep. And that’s the most important feature about a hotel, isn’t?

Rooms are basic, rather old fashioned and a little worn out, but never mind - everything works, and it’s quite cozy.

Location is brilliant - in walking distance from the train station and the old city with all its beautiful buildings.

Breakfast is included - it’s nothing special, but it’s always nice to start your day with a cup of coffee and a little bread.

If you come by car the hotel offers discount on parking in a nearby parking house.

A good sleep few minutes walk from Metz’ old city

The hotel is near the station and the center, has a nice breakfast, comfortable room and kind staff. We slept very well , the room silent and also had a nice view of the square in front of the hotel. Very good option in Metz.

Very nice stay in Metz

Hairs in bed and bathroom. Rooms in poor condition. Breakfast area way too small for so many people. Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. A lot of sounds from other rooms.
On the positive side, location was great and staff at the reception was friendly.

Acceptable but would not return

Breakfast was great!  The staff here was very helpful - one of our party lost her purse and they helped her translate when she was contacting the bus and train departments.
They provided converters when we brought the wrong ones. Very helpful!

Excellent service!

Superb value. Great location. Includes breakfast which was good quality. 

We happened upon Metz by chance. What a lovely city so clean, well preserved and with such a great choice of restaurants too. This hotel is located a short stroll from the old town and there is a lot of car parking on street near by. The neighborhood and city feels safe and is easy to walk around. 

The hotel itself is old but that adds to the charm. It has been refurbished and is comfortable.  Note: Rooms have fans not airco - it is hot here at the moment and the fans are adequate to circulate fresh air from the open window.
