Very pleasant, clean and comfyWe hope to come back next year

The premises are part of a family owned and run complex with the B&B etc at one end and the winery at the other. Vines are all around except for the pleasant working village. Car parking is as easy as it gets. The stork stand was empty.
We were in the apartment block in an excellent family room. It was themed in a red and white decor with plain wood and a tiled floor.  There was a view from the room across to the castles. It had cooking facilities but we were there only one night and went to a local restaurant and had the B&B breakfast in the morning. It was quiet and comfortable.The feeling of being in a family home was not present - more like a small motel. 
The breakfast was not a feature with basic continental being served. There was some confusion over the bill when the time came to pay. I had to remind them that they had taken a deposit as there was no deduction of it on the bill.
We bought some good Gewurtztraminer and some not quite as good Reisling from the winery before departing.

Not Really a B&B but a good family motel

My family and I stayed at apartment "Sebastian".
The service was very nice and the owner (Nathalie Schwach) spoke English very well.
Nathalie showed us the family`s winery (called "François Schwach") and explained the wine making process. There is also a nice wine tasting place in the winery.

The hotel is located at the outskirts of the small village of Hunawihr.
If you are traveling by car, it is perfectly situated - only 5-25 minutes drive to all the major attractions Alsace has to offer. There is also a free parking place.
Hunawihr village itself is very beautiful, authentic and not touristic like the other nearby villages. It is within a walking distance from the hotel.

The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated with Alsatian typical ornaments.
From the upper balcony there is a breathtaking view of the surrounding vineyards.
The kitchen was equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, drip coffee maker, kettle and all the dishes and cutlery needed for basic cooking.

Breakfast at the hotel is rather basic: delicious croissants and cheese but no vegetables nor eggs. we preferred to cook breakfast on our own. 

Overall i definitely recommend the hotel.

Very nice room with great vineyards view

We booked two rooms at the St Hune for our party of four adults. One individual is mobility restricted (no stairs, limited walking distance) and required a twin bed for sharing the room with another individual. Our requirements were fully discussed with the St Hune and two side-by-side rooms which met our requirements were agreed, pre-paid and specifically documented in the written reservation confirmation we received.

On arrival, we were given rooms that did not correspond to our reservation. One room, which included the kitchen, was up stairs and therefore not accessible. When we noted that the mobility restricted individual would not have access to the kitchen, we were informed that the kitchen in one unit could not in any event be shared by the people in the other room. This was clearly not understood at the time of making the reservation. Where we had planned to eat-in, we now had to eat-out.

We would not have stayed at the St Hune had we been informed that our accessibility requirements would not be honored as guaranteed in our prepaid reservation and/or that the kitchen could not be used for our group as a whole.

The room on the main floor -- where twin beds were required -- was unsatisfactory in that the twin beds were on the narrow side and were only barely separated. The room upstairs has an annoying motion activated ceiling light which repeatedly turned on during the night, illuminating the whole apartment.

The St Hune is advertised as "wheelchair accessible (accessible en fauteuil roulant)": it is not. There is a very loose gravel driveway and uneven walkway tiles obstructing access to all the ground floor rooms. The sink in the adapted room is mounted on a high, hard-to-reach vanity, which does not have space for knees to go underneath.

Confirmed reservation not respected

This place is just outside Hunawihr, on the grounds of a vineyard.  They have just added more rooms, but I was able to stay in one of the lovely apartments - great castle views, storks nesting outside the window - wonderful linens, cool tile floors and very nice Alsacienne décor.  Nathalie, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful, breakfast was great, and dinner at the nearby restaurant was a highlight of my walk across Alsace.  A GREAT place if you want to be away from the 'tourists' (even if you are one).
