Hotel Arc En Ciel

If you arrive at Eze by train you catch the No:83 bus to Eze village from the railway station, on the same side of the roan. A little tip is walk west a hundred yards or so to the next stop to get an easier access to the bus as many people may be waiting for the bus at train station stop. Eze is quite a tourist attraction. The journey does not take long and is very scenic. As you enter the town and just before the bus stop if you look South towards the hill that is Eze you will see Hotel Arc En Ciel. It couldn’t be easier to find. The hotel in above a shop and cafe. Access is by steps at the side but you register in the cafe which also doubles as the breakfast room. The lady in charge is very helpful. We arrived at midday for 3:00 p.m. booking time. The lady without discussion had our room prepared first so that we could check in with minimal delay. While we were waiting she looked after our luggage. The room was small but adequate, clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast consists of a large glass of orange juice, croissant, bread, jam and butter and coffee with a refill. The hotel is on the street that leads up to the village of Eze so is very conveniently located. During the day there are many tourists, but for anyone who stays overnight, they are rewarded by having a much quieter more serene atmosphere throughout the village and if they wish an evening meal in the village itself. Departing from the village by public transport, one can go to the railway by No:83 bus or continue by bus nos: 82 and 100 go to Nice and Monaco, though their frequency is every two hours. There is a time table at the bus stop.
