I stayed in a dorm room for several nights before and after climbing Mont Blanc. Clean warm room with comfy beds, common bathroom, small kitchen, dining area with coffee machine, wi-fi. There were 2 hosts very friendly and easy to contact with any time by their phone number. The place is located around 10 minutes by walk from Chamonix city center which was perfect for me. Thank you guys for the great staying, I would love to come back!

A very nice and friendly place to stay!

Stayed here this year 2019, after staying last year, last year was comfortable, so we returned, very clean, friendly and helpful manager and staff, decent breakfast service, fantastic balcony views of the mountains, will definitely be staying again.

Ski Holiday.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a nice cheap option to stay very close to the center of Chamonix. They will give you a free transport city card at your arrival. I have enjoyed the stay in the single room there.

Nice place close to the center

Arrived here for a two night stay with my partner for a wedding 10-12th Jan 2020. Paid £127 for two nights for us both, bargain!

 Arrived before check in but the room key was out waiting for us. The room itself was basic but clean, whole hotel smelt very clean. The view from our balcony was amazing! Double bed, wardrobe, desk with TV and two bedside cabinets. En suite shower room, very clean and inviting. Free his service that runs every 10 mins but we chose to walk into Chamonix itself which took around 10 minutes. Lovely walk with the Alps all around.The host went out of his way to take us to the wedding which was very kind. We didn't eat the breakfast as chose to go into Chamonix instead. Will definitely return!

Great little hotel

I travel the tour de Mont Blanc this month and started and finished my trip I'm Chamonix. In both times I slept in this hostel and got exactly what I needed. It's a little far from the center (20 min max) but totally reasonable. At the end the breakfast were excellent. If you are planning doing the tour this hotel can fit you and give just the basic things you need for a night.

Great accommodation with decent price. 

If you want a cheap roof over your head and bathroom amenities only and nothing else it’s a good option. This is affordable accommodation a little walk out of town that would appeal to travellers on a budget. It is more of a hostel than motel but is really neither.
We weren’t greeted on arrival by anyone but we did find our envelope taped to the reception window with minimal instructions In English and French. interestingly the emergency evacuation instructions in the room were in French only.
It is very clean however the over powering smell from the cleaning products smells  like the towels are washed in the same product as the floors and bathroom.
There is no provision to make a hot drink, meals or to store or prepare food. There is no area to meet other travellers and encourage conversations. 
Basic breakfast is provided for 10 Euro which I thought was overpriced for cereal toast and coffee.
There is great Potential for this to be a fantastic welcoming budget accommodation but misses the mark.

A little disappointing

The Gite has everything you need at a very fair price.  Ample roadside parking and the room was fine.  Bathroom basic but had what's needed.   Only 10 minutes walk from the town centre, and bus stop opposite for accessing the ski lifts

Well located Gite in Chamonix

We're two persons who booked a singel room for one night in late October 2018. The location is okay, a 15 min walk (1,2km) from the train station. There is a bus stop really close to the hotel. On the backside the train rails are about 20 meters from the house. The train didn't bother us as we arrived late and left early next day. The reception was closed when we arrived but the check-in went smoothly as the reception left us an envelop with instructions.

Our room had a double bed, a small bathroom, a small tv, some nice old wooden furniture and a big balcony with a nice view. The bathroom was very small, a bit shabby and had no window. We didn't have much exceptions and were fine with the room until we found bed bugs in the bed and on the furniture. Luckily we could put out all our stuff on the balcony and we can just hope we didn't bring any of the bugs with us home. It wasn't the most pleasant sleep we've had..

In the morning we grabbed our stuff as quickly as possible and checked out. We told the reception about the bed bugs and even showed them a dead one. The receptionist were really sorry about it and said they will clean the room. Somehow it felt we weren't the first persons telling the reception about the bed bugs. We really hope they'll do a proper treatment to get the rid of the bugs as the hotel otherwise is very nice and has a lot of potential.
