We are satisfied with everything.  Hope to be back next year.  Thank you. I felt complete relaxation and peace.  The hotel is located close to the beach 5 minutes, good infrastructure, very clean room.  there is everything for comfort.  Friendly staff and even the winter time is very cool !!  We recommend the hotel to everyone, very good price and location.  !!!

The wonderful hotel, good location, clean room and everything you need to stay.  The staff are very polite and helpful.  in winter I felt comfortable and very beautiful, there is a place to walk.  I plan to come back here by the end of summer !!!  very comfortable apartment !!!

Perfect apartment!!!

Very pleasant stay at Le Grillon. The lady on the accueil was exceptionally helpful and even left a little sign in our room saying Happy Anniversary. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The only slight criticism would be that it might be nice to put some toiletries in the bathroom. At least some hand wash would have been useful. But apart from that our stay was just lovely.

Anniversary Weekend

I had booked a room for one night in January, as I was travelling to the South of France for work. Whilst still on the road I got in touch with the hotel to let them know I would be arriving one day earlier, could they amend my booking? Not only did they give me an entire appartement, but they didn't charge me extra for the service or the space. And also had the keys waiting for me in a safe as I arrived late, and gave advice for seeing the surrounding area on my day off. The apartement was lovely, it had everything I needed, a space to cook and refrigerate food, good wi-fi and very clean facilities and extra blankets as it was quite cold in January. I would definitely go back here when I'm not in the area for work, too. Thanks!

Friendly family business, very accommodating staff, spacious & clean apartment.

Booked here because our usual residence was unavailable and to be honest was wary because of the reviews of some people.
Yes the rooms are a bit old fashioned, but we found this rather quaint and authentic French.
The soundproofing is not too good and you do her people walking naive you but not general talking etc as some suggest.
However, there are many plus marks. 
Mat, who we took to be the owner, speaks excellent English and was as helpful as possible to us. He allowed us to drop our bags early and pick up late the day we left.
The room was clean, comfortable and the cooker etc actually better than our usual residence.
Toilet and shower more than adequate.
Location is superb being right in the centre of the town.
A small seated area outside our room was an asset even if it was out of the sun in the afternoon.
The price was more than reasonable and I suppose reflects the overall Residence.
We would return another time.

Reasonable Option

The studios are ideally situated for restaurants and supermarkets, and a short walk to Arcachon's beautiful promenade. The 12 studios seem to be different from each other  but all are centred round a courtyard/car park which can be a little congested and occasionally noisy but there is little noise from the surrounding roads. The studio was simply furnished and lacked a sofa or armchairs but was attractively decorated in the French seaside style and clean Cooking and eating facilities were good. The owner was welcoming and helpful. Bathroom was clean but a little narrow particularly the shower access but wouldn't be a problem for most people.

A good budget option for visiting Arcachon in an excellent location.

The hotel is VERY good: worth for money. 10-15 minutes away from center. Matthew, the owner is the nicest host: we arrived really late and he came to meet and guide is. Room was clean and exactly as pictured. 

Arcachon visit

Thus is smack on the middle of Arcachon. We got an apartment with a loft with beds for the kids, they loved it. Had to keep the windows open and our daughter got stung 15 times. Other than that a nice experience. The Wifi was sufficient, free and valid for f4 hours at the time.
