The hotel was average at best.  It is in a great location (very close to the train station, the cathedral, and the St. Leu neighborhood (historic area by river with lots of dinning options).  Room was very small with a tiny bathroom.  It was clean and for one night wasn’t bad.  Anything more than that would be hard to take.  The extra charge for the breakfast (which I thought was included) was totally not worth it.  It would have been cheaper and have a better variety to walk to the train station.  All you were given was a couple of pieces of bread, jellies and Nutella in packets, a couple of fruit options and some ham.  The breakfast was a total rip off!  Again, hotel is fine for a one night stay; nothing more.

The hotel is across three floors. The room no. 25  was in the roof. The stairs are quite steep and narrow. The room was on the small size for the cost but it was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. on site parking was very much appreciated.

Cloae to train station. Room was on the third/ top floor, had to walk up and down many times bc newded help from reception. Internet didnt work during my stay!

This is a pretty plain hotel but clean and quiet and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is handy to the train station and lots of restaurants nearby. The town is best explored by walking and there are lots of stores and eating places very nearby.

We stayed here two nights - two adults and 2 kids.  We took our own travel cot for the little one.  The room was clean but very basic - which we expected for the money.  There was a small ensuite.  The shower took a while to drain but worked and was clean.  Parking is in a shopping centre across the road and is 7E a day.
The owners of the hotel are fantastic and very helpful.  They gave us some good tips about things to do and we helpful throughout our stay.  The hotel offers breakfast but we opted to head out and so not sure what that is like.  The dining room looked clean and nice. Room are upstairs and there are a few floors so if you struggle with stairs maybe request a first floor room to avoid more than one flight.
Overall good for a couple of nights.

Great value basic hotel

Very friendly owners. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Hard working as well. My room was a good size and very clean. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Toilet also flushes well. I was in the downstairs ensuite. Comfortable bed. Only issue is that i couldn’t get the window shut which i didn’t realise until i was ready for bed. This meant street noise even with earplugs and cigarette smoke coming in to my room. Blinds don’t fully shut out street light. I would still recommend it because of the lovely owners, amenities and it is right across the road from the station. Also, they have a dog which makes it feel a home from home.

The hotel is in a back street n ear the railway station, but well signposted. It is basic but very friendly and cheerful. Parking (for my motorcycle) was just outside the window of my room, which was fine since the bike has a loud alarm. The room was basic and a bit worn, but the place was cheap and a bit of fun.

I cannot remember ever seeing so many Australian flags in one place. Pity the Kiwis miss out a bit!

Very noisy if your on the ground floor. Nice simple room and great location. They have some limited secure parking which is great as most places dont. Didnt eat as there are so many good places nearby. Does get a lot of street noise if your on the ground floor. Nice friendly staff.
