After biking around and sleeping in a tent for one week I arrived at Eysturlodge in Klacksvik. Kinga was the most service minded host I've ever met! Greeting me with warm food at every occasion I returned to the house and always available for tips and guidances around the Islands. Here and Ivan's home felt warm and welcoming with plenty of facilities and spotless! Would recommend the place at any time to anyone!

Biking the Faroe Islands

We stayed in the small side apartment (not the main lodge) that had an attached private bathroom and a small dining area. The lodge itself is more of a BnB, and is located in a residential neighborhood. The apartment large for European standards, and it was great having a private bathroom in Klaksvik. The host, Kinga, was very friendly and welcoming and helped us a lot with deciding where to go around the area. 

The bathroom was well equipped, though the shower was a little small. There is a very nice heated towel rack, which made our towels very warm and helped dry them. The room is a standard bedroom, but also has a sink (as it is used as massage room in the winter months). A light cereal breakfast with milk and chocolate wafers was provided.

I was not able to give the full 5 stars for the following minor reasons: the toilet seat is slightly broken and shifts to the side as one is sitting on it. The beds could use a bit more padding as we could feel the springs in them. The window blinds did not fully cover the window (and it was a basement window so people could look in to the bedroom). The seating area has no privacy as it has a glass door looking out to the street (maybe some blinds for it would help?)

However overall this is a solid choice for a stay at Klaksvik, and the attached bathroom is especially welcome in a city where most hotels offer only shared bathrooms.

Cozy apartment and wonderful hosts

Great Accommodation, very well equipped and appointed, excellent location for exploring North East Faroe Islands lots to do and see in the surrounding area. Fully recomend this accommodation and happy to stay again.

Great well Equipped Accommodation with Excellent Location

I had a wonderful 2-night stay in the apartment section.  The apartment was spacious and clean and quiet.  Kinga was incredibly welcoming and gave great tips of things to do in town and in the surrounding area.  She left plenty of food and drinks in the fridge for breakfast.  I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic lodging

Everything was fantastic.  Kinga is lovely and helped us with all our questions about the area and things to do.  She was very approachable and cheerful.  The location was good for all our sight seeing of the islands.  There is a supermarket nearby, although the one across on the other side has more choice of produce.  We slept well - no noise overnight from traffic or our hosts upstairs.  You can get your laundry done for about $10 AUD (large load) and the kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for self-catering.

Beautiful apartment in the most beautiful city of Faroe Islands.
We stayed two nights but wish to stay more...
Great location to visit the northern islands. The apartment is beautiful decorated, with a spacious and modern bathroom with plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great. Everything is spotless clean. Free internet and free parking in front. The apartment has all you need to spend a fantastic time in Klaskvik.  This was the best accomodation we had in Faroe Islands. Kinga was lovely also!
Hope we can return one day...
