I stayed here for three days out of recommendation. MT Guesthouse has really lovely people who are quite friendly and very helpful. I did enjoyed the roof top that serves as the breakfast area and gives a good view from five floors up. This guesthouse is very central, clean, in a quiet neighborhood and very close to many social locations. I did enjoy my stay here.

Lovely Guesthouse, Great Location, Quiet Neighbourhood and lovely people

My husband, 4-year-old son, and I  stayed at the MT Guesthouse for three weeks in December 2015. The staff was so nice and treated you like you were a guest in their home. Fasil would give us rides to the grocery store and wherever we needed. We were always greeted warmly by all of the staff from the ladies who cooked breakfast to the lady who made our room look spotless each morning. I loved the big windows to let the light and fresh air in. The room had a small kitchen with a sink and a hotplate and mini fridge. We managed to cook plenty of good meals in our room - you just have to be creative! The shower was hot (you might need to let it run for a few minutes first). They also had a generator for when the power went out and free wi-fi. Walking distance from many shops and restaurants in a safe area, MT is ideally located. We never worried about going out at night - even as conspicuous white tourists. Thank you MT for a great stay!

Top notch service, spacious and comfortable rooms

I stayed here mostly for convenience for my travels.  It's an ok place, but we wouldn't stay again. The staff was great and they had a rooftop terrace that was very nice and provided good view of Addis.  Other than that, the interior of the building was not too inviting.  The rooms did have small kitchenettes.  We were in two different rooms and the water leaked out of the bathroom when showering, causing a wet floor which was a nuisance. 
While we were there (3 weeks), we noticed most of the guests were long term guests.  It's a fairly decent rate (do negotiate if staying long term), but we would try another guest house in the future.  
The breakfast was very good and the ladies making the breakfast were so sweet.  

It's in a pretty good spot.  You can walk to numerous restaurants and shops.  

It was rather noisy but I think any place near the city would be.  A lot of dogs barking.  It didn't disrupt us, but just pointing that out.
