Stayed here on our trip to Ecuador, and only spent one night. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location with a great view of Chimborazo. This hotel served us breakfast and dinner and had a very nice and talented kitchen staff. The hotel room was average, although we had an excellent view. The light in our room, when turned off via the switch, would continuously flicker on and off. This concerned us, so we decided to remove the bulb for the remainder of our stay. We did not feel unsafe in this hotel, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The surrounding location of the hotel was a bit slummy, although we walked to a local church for mass and we had a lovely time meeting the locals and really soaking in the culture. :)
