An excellent place to stay, well-located, very comfortable to hang out, a nice DIY breakfast and the bonus of sitting on the terrace overlooking the town and the valley. The bike is an excellent touch, and wonderful to get around the town. Susan is a wonderful host.

Bed Bike Breakfast

The reason we went to Vordingborg was not nice (a funeral). But the BBB was super. The reception by Susan was personal and warm. We had a double room witch was fabulous. And those beds...... could sleep all day. Simple but very good breakfast. It's a little gem that we would recommend to all. The location is super. In the middle of Vordingborg with shops and restaurants at your doorstep. Direct train links to Hamburg and Kopenhagen.Good public transport to surrounding towns.

Our room was on the ground floor with its own kitchenette and en suite facilities. It was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable.
Access was gained by keypad entry via its own front door. The free wifi worked well.
Susan (the owner) allowed us a late check out which was very kind as we had a late flight back to the UK.
Buzzing around this lovely little town on perfectly maintained bikes was great fun and I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

5 rooms in total. I think because I've seen 2 up until 5. We stayed in room 3.
2 double bed and 2 single bed rooms I've seen. No other guests when we were there.

Room is warm. Think it can be hot when it's hot outside. We had max 21 C.

Supermarket only 10 minutes walk.
Restaurants near.

You share bathroom/toilet with other guests.
The shower doesn't drain the water well.
Kitchen is well equipped. There's a Nespresso machine. Dishwasher, refrigerator (no freezer), water-cooker, oven.
The bed is okay and has a topper on top of 2 single mattresses.
WiFi works perfectly.
Cleaning is done daily and the lady comes in 11 o'clock.

Balcony is for the use of all the guests and has 2 tables and 6 chairs (pillows indoors), There's also sun-shading. (the railing is in need of some mending, wood rot)

You can go for a walk and leave via the premises of the church and walk back via the center/shopping area.

The view from the balcony is stunning. Not much to see in Vordingborg but you're only 1 hour away from, for instance the White Cliffs on Mon.
Cycling is easy because everything is almost flat in Denmark

Quiet setting in the middle of Vordingborh

We stayed at Bed, Bike & Breakfast in September for two nights (which was the minimum stay allowed).  The location was excellent --- close to everything in this charming town.  Our room had a kitchenette and en suite bathroom.  It was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.  Access was via keypad at the front door.  Susan, the owner, is a former flight attendant and very friendly and accommodating.  Each day, she left the next day's breakfast for us in the refrigerator.  It was do-it-yourself -- two eggs, four rolls, a carafe of juice.  A basic bike was available for rent, although it needed some adjustments and did not include a helmet.  The area around Vordingborg is lovely and very accessible by bike.
