We stayed at the B&B By The Sea for one night during a family road trip in June. The villa is gorgeous, homey and beautifully decorated. Our hosts are super friendly and immediately greeted us upon arrival. We had booked a double room and had an adjacent smaller room for our third family member. A beautifully made breakfast was served for us in the living room the next morning.
We took no issue with the bathroom being shared with another couple, but we also never bumped into them for the night we stayed there.
The lovely sea view, our kind hosts and a through and through beautiful house made this a highlight of our trip.

Perfectly lovely!

This is a spacious and very comfortable B and B. It rooms do indeed look out over the sea at Sweden across the way. The place is First Cabin, with great beds. The hosts (Eric and Michael) are very gracious, hospitable and accommodating. They really care about their guest; perhaps because they themselves travel often. Their house is near good restaurants and Hamlet's Castle. I cannot say enough good about this house.

Best Rooms at the Best Location at the Best Price

We stayed one night with Eric and Michael and found the facilities to be excellent all around. The views are fab, the beds comfy and breakfast was great. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotless and we had a really good sleep which is the best you can ask for on holiday. Eric has  a wealth of knowledge on things to do in Helsingoer as well. Great B&B!

Great love action, lovely rooms and wonderful hosts

We stayed at BB By the Sea Helsingor for one night while we were visiting the castles around. First of all, the rooms are really beautiful and elegantly decorated. They are also very clean (hosts do not let people in with their shoes). Our room had a big balcony and a perfect view. Hosts informed us about the fascinating sunrise and we caught it! Glad that we did; it was really beautiful. There is no private bathroom in the room and I normally do not prefer this. However, it was not a problem at all. Every time we wanted to use the bathroom, it was available and very clean. The hotel is very convenient to visit the castles around. You can start your visit in the morning without losing time to reach there from Copenhagen.

We arrived expecting a nice romantic time by the shore in Helsingor however, -our host was not there and to be fair he did say He's be in later but we had instructions for access to the house -and upon entering what I thought was our suite I found a sticky tape note with my name on a door a young woman came from another room in what I thought was our suite...she has just booked that day and said she was there on business but neither she NOR we were aware that we would be sharing a bath....we are on holiday and are used to our privacy and creature comforts- she was there for business and would be up and about before 7....
When I told our host this was not satisfactory - he said "it's on the site"....too bad- yes it's in the fine print....I said we would find alternate accommodations....
We were initially charged the price of our 3 day stay but I complained to booking.com and were charged only for one night - however given that the accommodations were NOT as expected I counsel you to MAKE CERTAIN IF YOU WANT A PRIVATE EN SUITE BATH to ensure you are getting what you want.
