But in summer, when the windows are open in the night, it's rather noisy. The bed had got a repair. It's not so agreable to notice a piece of steel at the frame. But the room was clean and the bath room as well. The breakfast was excellent.

In the average: good

The hotel is basic, the rooms are basic but the food is first class.
I stayed here for business for 10 days and the room was not serviced once. However I never asked it to be so maybe that's the trick.
The restaurant has its menu in Czech, German and English and the food was fantastic. 
The guy that served couldn't have been nicer.
There's not a lot of options in this town for hotels, but I would certainly stay here again.
Free wifi too.

Fantastic resturant

The hotel is rather old-fashioned but our room was spacious. Separate toilet and bathroom was good. Buffet breakfast was more than adequate. Perhaps there was a temporary shortage as we stayed two nights and saw no single member of staff in the dining room at any time. Most disappointing however was that the room was not made up during our two days. It may be as good as one gets in Sternberk and I have to admit that value for money was pretty good. I would happily recommend it for a one-night stop.
