Quite simply the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. I would of rather slept on the ground outside if it wasn’t for the busy road it’s located on. The toilets didn’t work, the bedding was dirty, the place was filthy and the staff were useless. If I wasn’t drunk for a lot of the trip I probably would of cried.

I’ve never been to hell but I imagine it’s like this.

Was allocated this accommodation through Red7 for my hen do and had a very difficult time with unhelpful staff. First they tried to take much more money from us than was agreed as deposit. Secondly they were caught twice walking into our rooms when they thought we were all out. It wasn't for cleaning as they stated they would not clean or replace towels for stays less than 3 days which we were. Things went missing from the rooms and I suspect that members of staff were behind this. They made it difficult to get our deposit back, if our tour guide hadn't been there to fight our corner we would have had to just leave all the deposit so we did not miss our flight. Rooms are very warm and no air con or fans so you have to leave the window open and it's hugely noisy at all hours. Location is good and beds are comfy enough but this is about all the good I can say for this place. I think they take advantage of the big groups thinking they will be too drunk to realise they are being scammed but I don't drink so was able to see what was going on. Avoid if at all possible.

I would avoid coming here

The location of the hostel is fine and the reception looks nice, but those are the only positive things to say. We booked a room for 10 people but ended up in a room with 18 people. When we tried to complain they told us that they couldn’t do anything about it because that is how the building is build... The showers were small and not clean. The toilets were clogged almost all of the time. The beds looked like they were about to fall apart. It was very hot in the room so the windows had to be open, but because of the noise of the street it was almost impossible to fall asleep. The lockers were so small you couldn’t fit a bag in it, so we had to leave our stuff in the room. That was not really a problem if the rooms were locked, but our door was always wide open, and the doors of the hostel as well, so everyone could just enter our room. It was nice there was a kitchen.Overall a really bad experience. Staff was not helpfull (cleaners were nice though!).

Only the location was fine

These apartments are located just up the hill from the bottom of Wenceslas Square, and the main railway station, so handy to get around all of what Prague can offer.  There are restaurants, bars and mini supermarkets all around.  The tram lines run at the top of the road, and the metro stations are at the top or bottom of the road.  
Our room was quirky, with a big separate bathroom with a nice warm and quite powerful shower.  The kitchen was at the back of the apartment, but had two ring hob, a full sized fridge, a kettle and all the plates and cutlery you needed, including full sized mugs.
The bedroom was quite big, with two tub chairs in a lounge area, and two comfy single beds.  The window was facing the main road, which was quite noisy at all hours of the day and night, but we're used to those things, so it was OK for us.
The staff were all very friendly, spoke very good English, and very helpful.  They will even arrange their own driver to pick up and drop you off from the airport for 50 Euro, cheaper than a transfer.
So, there was no aircon, and at 27 degrees in Prague, it did get warm outside, but our room wasn't too bad.  They are decorating and updating the place, so on the last day the lift didn't work, but that's just a little unfortunate.
Overall, it wasn't a fancy place, it had quirks and faults, but for the price and the handy location, it was very good.

Quirky, clean, nice location, and full sized mugs!

The first two nights were completely fine, though the kitchen was dirty with dishes and did not looked clean in a couple of weeks. Our second night a homeless guy lived in our room so it was impossible to sleep with the smell and him running in and out of the room and walking in to stuff. But otherwise it was a good location to stay at near the train station and close to the new old town

Seen better

Nice staff, very good price even tho I had to book 2 nights and only stay for one :( rooms were clean and airy with comfy beds and secure lockers and good access to balconies for smokers. First day the showers and toilets were filthy but the second day spotless so guess was bad timing although if a mop was left there for the guests at least we could give it a once over before using when they aren't up to scratch.. Was nice having a hairdryer for everyone tho, nice touch :) Great location for vinohrady visit.
