Penzion U Tkadlen is a real historical building with rounded ceilings. Its location on the riverside just below the castle walls is very romantic and convenient - it´s only few steps to the beautiful city center. 
We stayed in a four bed room, which was spacy enough for two couples and all our motorcycle gears. Rooms are not modern or beautiful, but perfectly cleaned and equiped with all you need for overnight stay. And it was only for 350 CZK (about 13€) including breakfast per person.
It´s possible to park in locked yard for free, what is a real advantage when you are traveling at motorbike. You can also rent a rowboat for 60 CZK ( 2.20 €).

All the staff are really friendly. We announced to arrive at 6pm, but then we delayed on the road and arrived at 8:30pm. Poor receptionist had to wait only for us, but she wasn´t even angry. Like a true profesional.

Reasonably priced B&B

Pension U Tkadlen has an amazing location, right beneath the castle, next to the river and a few minutes walk from the central square. Reception is in the adjoining restaurant and they rent rowboats. The toilets and bathrooms were clean but the room I had was grubby. The bed was pretty poor too - old bits of wood for slats under a slice of  foam instead of a mattress. There was a great balcony looking over the river but no kitchen or other common area that I could find (or was told about). The staff seemed nice enough, but you don't see much of them once you have your keys. For location alone 3.5 out of 5.  If you don't like roughing it a little though, this probably isn't the place for you.

Stone's throw from the castle - literally

Absolutely abysmal interior - mismatched half-broken furniture that falls into the "decrepit" and not "quaint" category, large mystery stains on the carpet next to the bed, smelly, musty bedding. A complete waste of such a good place - the exterior is lovely and so are the surroundings.
