Amazing place and the owners are fantastic, always trying to help. It is located in the middle of the village ( Galata ). Very nice house, and an excellent place to visit with your girl/wife. Very romantic to sit by the fireplace provided.

Excellent

A traditional stone built house with wood beam ceiling; stayed in the lower studio and sat out on the patio under hundreds of bunches of grapes; the owner, Fasoula was charming and she cut a bunch of grapes for us before leaving us.  Galata has many churches worth visiting and Kakopetria is only a few minutes drive away with its interesting cobbled street.

Traditional accommodation

Rude and unprofessional owner.  She yelled that she wanted to get paid immediately, but my new credit card didn't come through because the 3digit code stored on the booking site was the old one. The thing was resolved in 5 minutes. In the meantime she demanded we went to a bank, after a 2 hours drive and when we had just sat down to have something to eat. We only had a 50euro banknote on us, and we asked her if we could give her the rest (25euro) in the morning. She yelled that she wanted the whole sum and that if we didn't pay her, we should leave! I have never seen that in my life before. Avoid this property.

OK property, TERRIBLE owner

A cold basic house.
No amenities. No luxuries. A joke bathroom amenities, including small hand soap bar. No shampoo no shower gel, no hot water... 
A Fireplace mini fridge and an aged air-conditioning unit. 
Wifi yes and flat screen is a funny touch. 
Overpriced for such an accommodation. 
Took a while to find the place wondering with the car in narrow oneway village streets.
Will not return back.
Best feature we were the two of us. 
And we have good time anywhere we are, as long as we are together! 

Basic house

Very old stoned house smelling mould. As I am allergic, with breathing problems, I stayed up all night waiting for the morning  to leave.  I didn't dare turn the aircondition on as it was old and it would make the mould smell more. The host gave us towels and extra sheets from a cabinet outside ( in the yard). With the humidity and dust in the atmosphere, imagine how badly they smelt. Needless to say how roughly folded they were. 
I must agree with other comments I saw on Google saying how greedy the woman host was. She charged 90€ per night for this damp. Friends stayed at other places nearby with 60 euro per room, breakfast included, clean renovated and were fully satisfied. 
Really stupid of me not to read comments on Google instead of booking before going. 

Never again!

Avoid Xenis House. The rudeness of the owner was shocking. We were about to eat after a 2 hours drive, and only after 15 minutes we arrived. She knocked on the door and demanded to get paid immediate because my new credit card was declined. The reason being the booking site had the old 3digit security number stored. We asked politely if we could finish eating and see to it later. She said no, I want to get paid right now, or you'll have to leave!  I logged on and updated the card and the whole thing was resolved in 5 minutes. In the meantime we offered €50 in cash and asked if we could give her the remaining €25 next morning. Again, She yelled No and said we’d have to leave if we didn’t pay her. When we left next day, I realized I forgot my €180 tripod in the house. She didn’t have the minimum decency to keep it until we come and get it. She left it unattended outside, on the pavement.
