Most pleasant hosts ever, thank you Pram and Ester and little ones! Our fam loved the breakfast routine, which turned out not to be routine after all, every day new fresh smoothies with a "game" what's inside it :) Hosts also had variety of the possible activities on the island and for sure Pram and Ester know some local special places where to jump of the cliff .. . :) Rooms were also perfect, even larger than I expected and beds were really comfy. Thank you for the super great time, we shall never forget and hopefully see You all some day! 2 blessed to 2 stressed!  Greetings from Tallinn.

Place to be!

Bram & the fam are by far the best hosts one could ask for. 
Super lovely and personal welcome and great suggestions for all types of activities, beaches and restaurants. Spacious rooms (good beds!), great breakfast with a fresh daily smoothie and a laidback relaxed overall atmosphere.
Location is convenient and really tranquil during the night.
Hoping to be back someday, meanwhile all the best from Barcelona! :)

What a spot!

Breakfast is fresh and presented with love and care, the owners are nice and warm people. The place was peacefull and nice. If u looking for a place to relax or vacation with family or couple,  This is the place to be!

We stayed at SSS in September,sorry it took so long to review❤️Bran and Ester were perfect hosts.Our accommodations at the B&B was clean and very comfortable.The bathroom was so large and it was so great to have the pool there...it was the perfect temperature and we just about had it to ourselves👍Breakfast was so delicious and the smoothies are to die for!It was located in a lovely neighborhood too.Very quiet and relaxing location and we felt as if we were staying with friends.Bram and Ester have great knowledge about the island and will help you in planning your travels around it.We will always remember our morning coffee on the front porch and that special green liquor 🤪These lodgings are a don’t miss is you a relaxing place to stay with great rooms and a fantastic breakfast👍We will be back❤️

Great place to stay👍

One year after a fantastic time on Curacao we booked SSS again for our holiday in April 2019. It’s more like a stay with friends. Great breakfast, great people, great building on a great island. Looking forward to come back again.

We did it again

Everything about this stay was great, from the communication prior to arriving, to the drop off and departure. I came on business/vacation and Bram and his family were more than accommodating to my requests. They do have small children, but it wasn't a deterrent or an issue. At night, the place was quiet and kid free. In the morning, fresh breakfast was served and again, the hosts catered to your requests. 

What made it even more special is that Bram and his family were good communicators. We all sat for hours on some nights just talking and I never got tired of it. The rooms were clean upon arrival, the pools were well maintained. Other guests were respectful as well. I give this place an A+ in my book, because I never had a problem...with anything! :-) 

There is one thing that can be improved, and that's the Wifi. Bram, I work in IT, so I can show you how to increase your coverage inexpensively. In some places, it was a little spotty, but never a true issue. Email me. 

Lastly....I was given a car with my stay!!! It took the hassle out of renting a vehicle and the only thing I had to do was get in it and go. I'll be back in February...hopefully I can have the entire house.

Great space, Great People

My friend and I stayed at Sun Sea Sleep for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! The place itself was beautiful, clean, and inviting. Ester and Bram were amazing hosts. They gave great recommendations, had a huge breakfast served to us every morning, and were always available if we needed anything. The neighborhood was quiet but in a great location and the views from the pool deck were beautiful. Definitely will be staying here again on our next trip back to Curacao!

Amazing B&B

Sorry for the late post. We stayed in one of the apartments, in April 2019. Overall, the stay was excellent. 

Pros:  THE HOSTS: Incredibly gracious and accommodating. Didn't spend much time socializing with the other guests or the hosts, but every interaction was pleasant. We simply came to Curacao to bum out on the beach, and soak in the pool. THE POOL: Great. It was nice to have our own pool, available 24 hours a day, and spent many evening hours in the warm water. The SHOWER: OUTSTANDING!!!!! From the water pressure, to the temperature, to the size of the shower.....this was one of the best showers of all time!!! THE LOCATION: Not directly on the beach, but located centrally enough to get to any and every beach, as well as downtown in short order.

The Cons: Please, take these with a grain of salt, as so many others have only posted positives, and I did enjoy myself.  THE ACCOMMODATION: while comfortable, the place needed a better cleaning prior to our arrival. This was rectified by a quick trip to the market to pick up some cleaning supplies and some groceries. After, washing the dishes, cleaning out the food left in the fridge, wiping down all surfaces and changing the linens to ones that we had just purchased, the place was suitable to stay in. The living room furniture needs to be professionally cleaned, as it is buckskin material, and that just doesn't do well with people getting out of the pool and plopping down while still wet. I would change those out for something leather, or waterproofing the material after a deep cleaning. Lastly, the kitchen appliances need upgrading. The stovetop and oven required a lighter or match to ignite the burners and the microwave was inoperable, although the host did replace that immediately upon my informing him. 

That being said, my family and I enjoyed our stay. The place is a diamond in the rough, and a little more attention to detail will take it over the top. Bram and Esther were great hosts, and I would stay there again. This time, expecting a stay comparable to a Florida vacation condo rental, not "luxury". Once I got over that, I completely enjoyed my stay. And the value cannot be beat!

When we made the reservation it was not mentioned there would be crying children at the B&B. Plus that half of the time one little child was not dressed. One of the main things a renter should do is being honest about the place he is renting out.
For us a place of no more return.
