Bluesun Hotel Berulia

We stayed at the Berulia for 7 nights at the very end of September. We were given a beautiful side sea view room which was just perfect to take in the stunning sunsets of an evening. Hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had half board, breakfast and dinner was really good, great selection of food options. There are two pools we only sat by the main one which took in the lovely views of the sea, very tranquil. We was lucky with the weather and enjoyed a number of days in the sunshine. Mosquitoes were not a major issue, got a few bites but that was without putting any repellent on. Few wasps on the terrace when eating breakfast, again not a problem you just eat inside if you are bothered by them. You can take in the beautiful walks along the costal paths each way which takes you to lots of little cute bars and restaurants. When it hit October some of them did start to close. Luckily our favourite one was not closing until the end of October. I think this hotel is a very good 4*+ it’s just missing a few finer details which you would expect from a 5*. Would have also liked the double bed to be an actual double and not two twin beds put together with separate bedding. Croatia is a beautiful country and we can’t wait to come back. We will definitely stay at the Berulia again. Had a really lovely enjoyable holiday. Thank you.
