Our family just spent a comfortable week at EOC.  The pros:  great location a short walk on a jungle path to the beach, there are several restaurants in walking distance, great set up for five people, the kitchen had what we needed to make easy meals, loved the outdoor area next to the plunge pool where monkeys would visit in the morning, the villa was very clean when we arrived and cleaning staff visited every morning at 10, best of all their concierge was super helpful in setting up activities, transportation and covid testing both before and during our stay.  The cons:  the villas are close to the main road which is busy during the day, the property between the villas and the beach is being developed (it is the driveway of the new place that borders the villas so my guess is construction noise wouldn't be too bad?  there was none going on during our stay), our villa could have used some easy updates such as new pillows and window coverings that covered the whole window.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and feel that what is represented here on TripAdvisor is accurate with the exception that it is not "beachfront" but is closer to the beach than nearly all other properties in Manuel Antonio.  Feel free to PM me with questions.

Great for a family of 5

Let me start by saying that the actual property was fine and the staff was very helpful. The villas are a bit outdated and could be more comfortable but were clean. The views from the property are completely gone. There is a construction site between the property and the beach so the only view is now a black fence. Once the construction is done the view will be blocked. The walk to the beach is down a path in the woods. At the end of the path you must walk thru a dirty estuary . We observed horse manure being dropped in there from the horses on the beach. Along the path there is a hut used by a guy that rents chairs on the beach. Usually no big deal but sometimes it’s used by his friends to hang out and get high. We were uncomfortable walking the path when they were there.

Website is very outdated

We were here in 2018 and it was such an amazing time we came back to do it again in 2020.  Everyone is super-helpful from before you even arrive.  The property is amazing, and the staff can cater to your every need.  The villas are large and great for families.  Our villa was like a mansion for just two of us.  Monkeys and exotic birds are everywhere. The best part is the beach, by far.  It's huge, and at any given time there are maybe 100 people, tops, across an entire mile of beautiful sand.  And you have your own reserved space with chairs and umbrellas, and a really nice guy named Michael is standing by to bring you lunch or drinks or whatever you need.  There are also numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance or by taxi.  We particularly liked Buena Vista Beach Club, Buru, Morpho and El Largato the best.  Juan Pablo and the concierge staff are all very accommodating and can arrange whatever you want, including all kinds of excursions to go on - zip lining, whale watching, jungle tours, etc.  It's a really great trip for anyone looking to enjoy a bit of luxury in Costa Rica, and we'll be back for sure.  We miss it already!

Second visit, even better

We had such a wonderful stay at the EOC. The Villa was perfect for a family of five. The plunge pool was so refreshing at the end of the day. The staff was amazing, even packing an ice chest with drinks and delivering them to us at the beach. Breakfast was delicious and we even saw a monkey swinging from a tree while eating. Juan Pablo went out of his way to sure we were happy including arranging tours, getting equipment for the beach, and making sure that we had dinner arrangements each night. The location is great! The beach is right there and Manuel Antonio national park is walking distance! We saw tons of monkeys and a sloth the day before we left. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation! Katie and Marc

Amazing Vacation

We had an awesome time. There was construction that was starting in front of the hotel as we were leaving. Not sure how that will change the ambiance of the hotel. We would definitely consider coming back if the opportunity presents itself.

Great Vacation

Such a great location, the beach is a 30 second walk away! The beach in front is very quiet and the water was perfect for me and my two kids. The place was very clean, and had all the basics. The staff were very kind and helpful. Juan Pablo was amazing, he was always there to help and offer honest advice on activities and places to see in the area. We saw so many animals right outside our window, toucans, monkeys, even a sloth 10’ from our bedroom window! The only thing was the construction that started on the property between the villas and the beach. I think it will be hard to call it a beachfront property in the future. However, we still had an amazing stay and loved our experience in Manuel Antonio!

Best location!

This was an awesome villa with amazing surroundings. We had monkeys swinging through the trees and toucans looking in our window in the mornings. The beautiful beach was right out our back door and great restaurants within walking distance. 
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Juan Pablo was always there for us!

Awesome villa and surroundings.

We absolutely loved the villa and the staff took such good care of us we would never stay anywhere else! We highly recommend this place if you mare staying in Manuel Antonio. The beach is right there and the place is situated close enough to enjoy the activities yet far enough to relax and get away from the crowds.  

Beautiful Villa and the best service!

This is a very nice and quiet place with walking distance to the National Park. Very clean and the personel is very friendly and anger for you to have a great stay. They can arrange any activities for you. Positioned right next to the ocean, the villas are very cozy and clean. Great place for family

Paradise close to Manuel Antonio National Park

The place was stunning and Juan Pablo was an amazing concierge, he helped us from the time of booking until we left. Very knowledgeable and willing to assist whenever possible. We had our wedding on the beach and it started raining and he gathered his staff quickly to find us a tent. Couldnt have been happier with the trip
