Days Hotel by Wyndham Quanzhou Great Wall

In terms of luxury and facilities provided, this hotel may not be quite a 4-star one as its operator bills. But, overall, I give it 5 stars for the purpose of this review. First and foremost because of its staff. They are as helpful as anyone can be despite being disadvantaged by not knowing English. They've never got tired trying to communicate through smartphone translation. My second reason for giving it 5 stars is location. This is relevant for those who want to stay here for vacation. Quanzhou's CBD is now across the river in Jinjiang where you get Hilton and the like. On the other hand, all the main tourist attractions are on this side of the river and within walking distance of this hotel. There is also a food street literally next to the hotel. All you need to do is to cross the big intersection in front of the hotel (via a pedestrian overpass). Food there is OK. Quanzhou is after all a small town. It simply can't offer culinary experience to match big cities like Xiamen or Hong Kong.
