I was visiting on work and stayed 4 nights in this hotel, which our host (University) arranged for us. Left with no choice, I looked into the website, which revealed little and the reviews were not too convincing. Obviously, I was apprehensive, but was pleasantly surprised to see my room was spacious, and fairly clean. The bathroom and the shower cubicle were clean, a very important matter for me. Lots of toothbrush and paste are supplied, but no soaps or other toiletries. Ample space to store stuff, and also ample plug points and work space. There is also a small balcony, and nice view of the city; I was staying on the 14th floor.
Of all, though, the most amazing part of the stay was the morning buffet breakfast. The quality, taste and variety of food just blew me away - extremely delicious, and 'home-cooked' taste - no comparison with the 'chinese' restaurants in 'far off foreign lands'. I am a vegetarian (I take eggs), and I found lots of choices for me, unlike the popular belief that Chinese food is all about non-veg. 
The hotel provided drinking water. If one needs more, as I did, there is a small local grocery shop just behind the hotel, and drinking water is available very cheap at 7 Chinese renminbi for a 2 litre bottle.
The downsides of my stay were, first, although the front desk communication was fine (in terms of English as the accepted language for global communication), however, I felt the style of communication was very 'conservative', bordering on 'secretive'; it was annoying, and a bit silly, really. Second, I came in one afternoon to find mud all over in my bathroom - the room was otherwise cleaned up. I had to go down to the front desk to explain to them what was the problem (they misunderstood over the phone and sent in the wrong work person), and it was duly taken care of.  Third, they suggest the in-hotel restaurant if one is looking for food late in the evening. However, the restaurant staff, while very kind and polite, were not at all keen to try and understand any other means of communications except Mandarin! I had a bit of a struggle on my last evening to get some food. Even then, the quality was fab!

Fairly clean and comfortable

I am re-writing this review as it would appear that the first one I wrote has disappeared and is nowhere to be found. 
I stayed here due to my working arrangements and would not recommend this hotel at all. I found the staff to be very rude to me when they could not communicate in English, they often laughed or sniggered. There is no laundry available at the hotel and the staff could not tell me where I could get my laundry done. They were often quite reluctant to call taxis for me even though I had stayed for a few months at the hotel and the staff were aware that I was a guest.
The room was cleaned daily however under the bed certainly was not- when I moved it slightly I found old hair, dust etc which had clearly been there for a long time. 
I was very upset to find advertisement cards for prostitutes put under my door almost every night and packs of condoms put in my room, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Indeed, when I visited the hotel's 'spa' I was disgusted when I was told that there was no swimming pool or beauty treatments for women, only massages for men. 
The views from the room were not great. At night the noise in the area was almost unbearable. I am only scoring this hotel 1/5 as this is the lowest that I can score, otherwise it would be 0/5. If you must stay in this area, stay at another hotel.

Find another hotel to stay at

the hotel is very comfortable. there is plenty of space. The location is very good as we can go out to eat at night which only takes 3 mins' walk. wifi is ok and the front desk girls are ok too. The rate is very reasonable for a 4 start hotel. 

It is bad that we found a card for invitation of prostitute to room. this is indecent.

quiet environment and nice scenery

The room was spacious and the view given were great. It would be great if the cooking area to be functional or maybe just put a microwave there would suffice. It was a standard style room layout for a Chinese hotel and have a potential for more if the amenity could be added to accommodate a broader type of customer background.
