493 reviewsI just came home from Wamao and couldn't wait to write an review for other travellers to see. I stayed at Wamao for 4 nights. The owners made me feel like home the moment I arrived. DaDan (one of the owners) offered me local tea and great conversations the night I arrived. He was very insightful on the surrounding area and the local food & souvenirs. I was able to call him whenever I needed anything. He even educated me on how not to get scammed in LiJiang which made me feel really safe. I was looking for a place to relax and rest for 5 days, Wamao was perfect. I felt like I was at home with a bunch of friends. Everyone was super friendly and I felt as if we were long time friends. If you are looking for an relaxing vacation, Wamao is definitely your first choice :)
