Unique Resort Moganshan Hotel

My partner and I just spent 3 nights here. Two adjacent nicely designed modern buildings on a hillside above a village, well located, 20 minutes from Moganshan Mountain Park and 30 mins from Deqing railway station. Our room was sizeable, attractive and comfortable with an excellent balcony overlooking wooded hills - only marred by the absence of a proper toilet/bathroom door! Dinner was plain but nice (and cheap), reasonable selection of drinks. From a British perspective the "Western" breakfast was bizarre but it added to the slightly eccentric ambience. The owners were very friendly and attentive and created a good atmosphere which made you want to talk to other guests. We went as a couple, which was fine, but the hotel is probably best suited to small groups of friends including children - nice little play area in front of the main building. A little pricey but so I guess is everywhere in Moganshan
