Guilin Jin Feng Hotel

Unfortunately we only had one night in this small but beautiful hotel. The lower rooms are probably quite ok but the big difference are the rooms on the upper floors. There you even get a balcony with two chairs and a magnificent view over Guilin with the mountains in the background. The other rooms don't need to be unhappy though as there is even an available roof terrace! Only deck chairs are missing to make this a perfect sunset or sunrise location. The rooms including the bathroom are clean and well maintained. Every room has its own wifi which is pretty quick compared to some others we experienced along the way. The air conditioning is powerful enough to cool the room down in a short amount of time. Amenities are available including two bottles of complimentary water. You could complain about the lack of restaurants in the hotels but there are quite a number of good restaurants or food stalls in the area so there's really no shortage. The staff was helpful to book the tour to Yangshuo on the boat and gave us a few helpful recommendations. I will definitely recommend this hotel and come back when I'm in Guilin the next time.
