We stayed for 5 nights. Soft beds, ok decoration inside the rooms. The bathrooms could need a makeover. Fungus in all the corners! The courtyard is nice to hangout, staff is helpful and location is top. If you’re opting for a big double bed and the most spacious room take 223 or 207 ;) Breakfast was good if you like noodles, if not go to 88 bakery around the corner. Amazing sandwiches, cakes and coffee

Authentic guesthouse 

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to Dali. The rooms were nice, the location was great, and they had a nice breakfast in the morning. Our favorite part was the beautiful courtyard. Everyone that worked there was very hospitable. It's not luxury accommodations, but we found our stay to be just what we needed.

Beautiful hotel in old town

This hotel is in a good location, at a good price and offering very decent service. They offer a (spartan) breakfast (included in booking) and will hold on to your bags for you while you're away for the day. Three negative points: 1) locks on windows are generally not functioning (we were on the first floor, so this was a concern), 2) there is an elementary school behind the hotel (so prepare for a 7 am reveille) and 3) the rooms could be in better condition. Still, we found the service/professionalism to be outstanding and would highly recommend it for those traveling through Dali.

Overall, good hotel

This guesthouse has two advantages, the location and the very nice courtyard. It is located next to the pedestrian street in the old town,close to the south gate and has a very nice old courtyard. The rooms are average to small with very hard beds. The staff dis not speak much English but helped out as much as they could.

Mid-low range guesthouse

Wonderful rooms and full of furnished by Chinese traditional way, I have been myself on my last summer vacation was fantastic. All the staff are happy and helpful all the time. Nothing complain about hotel and service of their traditional hospitality. Many thanks goes to all the staff for arranging life memory during my trip to China.
