cancellation policy is terrible.  Weather turned and went below 0C which means pipes in trailer would freeze.  Gave 8 days notice and no budging, no refund no credits.  Interesting to hear some other comments say, "i'll refer you to my manager and will call back"  but never heard back from them. Never book with them if there is a hint of cancellation....

Of all the great places we stayed on this summer's vacation, this was our favorite.  The RV sites are spacious and the various levels are "terraced", allowing for great unobstructed views of the mountain-scape surrounding the park.  The public areas were clean and comfortable.  A great paved bike path connects the resort with other Whistler resorts and attractions including the Whistler Ski Village itself.  Many of our fellow travelers appeared to be hiking and biking, so the people tended to be rather quiet and in bed early, presumably to get an early start on the trails.  The quiet was renewing.   The drive up from the Seattle area was also pleasant, with improved roadways which were constructed a few years ago to accommodate access to the winter Olympics.  We will definitely revisit this park.   Early registration is recommended since it seems to be a popular destination.


Whistler Wonderland in Summer

This campground has a convenient location in the Whistler area and is generally well kept, but we had a very unpleasant experience here. We reserved a multi-use campsite for an RV and a tent, as the Riverside website states that multi-use sites can accommodate an RV and a tent.  
When arriving the campground, we got assigned site J9. This is a multi-use site that CANNOT contain an RV and a tent because it it not level and debris covers approximately 1/4 of the campsite. When informing reception about this, with the request to be moved to another empty campsite, for example J5, there is ‘nothing they can do’ except for charging us the full amount for another, separate site where we can put a tent on (J14). When refusing to pay the full amount, the only message you get is ‘you have to pay now, my manager will call you tomorrow’. 
During our stay, we noticed that site J5 has been vacant for the whole period and we would have been perfectly able to stay there with an RV and the tent, even though reception maintained that ‘’there were no other sites available’’ besides J14. 
Furthermore, even though reception promised that management would get in touch the next day, we haven’t heard from anyone after they forced us to pay the full amount for the second campsite.

Good location but very unpleasant (and expensive) experience

A friendly, clean and perfect site for our first stay in our hired RV. We only stayed one night and wish we could have stayed more. Friendly check in and clear instructions to all information. Our site was near the toilet block and at the end of the RV row, so it was quiet. Quiet time was followed.  Didn't get to the shop or restaurant onsite, but it was the only place we visited that had such a service. The playground and net ball area are perfect for the kids to play with others, had to drag mine away. Lots of insects in the evening, but that's expected being in the trees, get your spray on.  Good walk to the village, 30/40 mins but it was well paved. We got a taxi back.  Would recommend and visit again.

Perfect for our first RV night

I loved our stay in the yurt.  It was comfortable and still managed to feel like we were out in the forest: lots of trees, birds and squirrels.   Daniel in the office was super helpful when I left something in the yurt at check out.  Great place, I will definitely return.

We stay in Riverside in a rv, 27 ft with slides in right side.

It is the smallest site we have visited and the picnic table is in the back - again very small.

We will not stay here again. 

The only good thing is that the showets are free.

All the sites are hard paved (asphalt) and separated by hedging.  There is  a small shop and a laundrette,  The showers and toilets are clean and well kept.  2 nights cost C$161.54.  The attractions of Whistler are a 30 minute walk away.  the bus service was on strike at the time of our visit but it is a pleasant walk.

There is a Thai take away on site.

Fully serviced sites on a clean well run site

The campground is very clean and immaculate. The washrooms are clean and there are several washrooms throughout the camp sites. We have a smaller camper van and we camped in the mixed use area (Js sites). The mixed use area (Js and Ms) are more private but the sites are slightly smaller. We will definitely come back again. The bike/walking trail is just next to the campground. You can walk to Green lake in 20 minutes. Green lake is a beautiful lake. There are also many tent sites and they are very private. We really like this campground. We normally camp in State or Provincial campgrounds only and avoid private campgrounds, but this one is an exceptionally good, clean and convenient if you are staying in Whistler area.

We booked for a weekend but could not go as our little one tested positive for COVID. I called them 2 days in advance to see if we could change our booking for 2 weeks later. They refused and said their cancellation policy is no cancellation within 14 days. I explained to them that I didn't want to cancel but change my booking due to COIVD and their policy states nothing about changes. They refused and said they were fine if we wanted to come anyways. I reached out to corporate and no one ever got back to me.

Beware of Unclear Cancellation Policy

A little on the pricey side of things but I guess that’s to be expected given the area / location. The facilities were all clean, no issues at all, provided with a nice little RV spot surrounded by trees (I can understand some people saying how small they are but ours worked fine for us). Check in was quick and easy, the lady was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
