If you do not mind sharing a bathroom...this place was an awesome start to our tour of the gaspe peninsula.  Met great folks who we saw again along our trip.  Clean rooms, great food.  Near national parks.

This is a great bed and breakfast near Rimouski.  The owners are very friendly and the B&B itself has a nice design and feels very homey.  We stayed here for 3 days while we traveled about the area visiting different attractions.

Breakfast was excellent and tasty, the owner makes her own caramel sauce to serve.

The rooms are well appointed and being along the St Lawrence river means it doesn't get too hot here.  One thing to note, the bathroom is shared meaning if all the rooms are full you might have to wait a bit for the shower.  We had no problems and there was never a lack of hot water.

Very nice couple made us feel right at home, and an amazing breakfast in the morning was unexpected.  Great prices, great people.  They didn't speak much English, but that was endearing.  Getting by with my not so great French and getting the REAL experience of Québec.

This place is out of town a bit, but even by bicycle it's a nice trip back into town along the bike path and lanes. The main common rooms have a great feel/atmosphere, and the hosts were sufficiently bilingual to help me with my French, which incidentally, I do recommend you try, because after all, you're in Rimouski! It's got that nice creaky-ish wood floor sound of a good old fashioned B&B, and that's nice too. (But it's not badly creaky ... just enough once in a while to make you know you're in an old house.)
And double check to see if you can use a credit card or not ... I forget now, but I think I had to pay cash.
There's a really nice sitting area out front of the place, with some bistro tables and chairs, looking onto the very quiet bike path road that runs from Rimouski to out of town. 
Because I hadn't done my research, I found out too late that the park (Pointe-au-Pere) where the Onondaga submarine is more than just where the sub is stored, the park hosts a maritime museum dedicated to the Empress of Ireland sinking. That sinking as worse than the Titanic, but since most of the victims were lower class / working class Irish citizens (as opposed to the Titanic's upper crust Astors, Guggenheims, etc), the Empress's sinking gets very little attention. I wish I'd visited. The sub, annhhh, I don't care so much, but the museum would have been cool.

Great Bed and Breakfast along the St Laurent River

Lovely People

great atmosphere, terrific foods, great hosts

Great reception from owners, large breakfast, the room is clean and includes a king size bed but doesn't have a private washroom.  It is a real museum of antiques. The sheets are clean. It is a good quality for the cost.
