Staropriemnitsa Zograf

This hotel has an excellent location in the old town close to the bridge and clock tower. Although I had not booked it, my room was a mini suite with much evidence of local wood carving adorning the wardrobes and kitchen bar. However the kitchen had no fridge and nothing else except a kettle and some glasses. What I actually needed was a hairdryer but there wasn't one. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible and the covers on the decorative bed cushions badly needed a wash. However the room was otherwise clean and the bathroom was good with separate bath and shower cubicle and it even had a bidet! As other travellers have commented the hotel was quite noisy but did quieten down eventually. It was very hot during my stay and there was no air conditioning. The breakfast came at an additional 3 leva and it was very pleasant to have it outdoors on the river terrace.
