We travelled  to Kalahari Gham Dhao with Botswana Experience in April 2024. It was an unforgetable experience! The lodge team did their best to make our stay comfortable. Thank you Thelma, Zizi and the team for taking care of us during our 3 nights stay. The food was delicious, the bush dinner was incredible, the introduction to the San people was super interesting, the sundowners were exceptional, the meet and greet was special. We truly enjoyed every minute of the experience. Sending lots of love and gratitude.

Wow! Everything was just perfect. The atmosphere, rooms, food and game drives all couldn’t be better.

I normally never write reviews but this place deserves one as it’s truly a gem nestled in Kalahari,Botswana. We stayed in Evolve Back Gham Dao for a week and I must say the experience we had here is and will always be very close to my heart! Impeccable room, top notch food, excellent service and staff like family! Each moment we spent here was so exciting filled with plenty of game and is a dream for the wild life enthusiasts ! We absolutely loved our stay at Gham Dao. 

Everything is arranged until perfection, and they have the most qualified staff. They make sure you have the best time here. Our guide was the best guide we had, and we already did a lot of game drives!

The food is amazing, the rooms are great and the property is awesome. 

It's good we don't have this bed at home, it's so good we would never came out.

This experience was fantastic. The individual lodges with their sky beds and viewing platforms were sublime. Thelma and her staff could not do enough for us in a very quiet way and the guides were second to none. Would come back here in a heart beat.

Beautiful lodge, good food, attentive staff. Accessible via sand track or by plane. In the large lounge area from the ground floor and the upper terrace, a view of the waterhole nearby with many ungulates, lions, jackals and birds...close to the large pool and the open fire pit. The food is delicious and served lovingly. A personal guide is available for the excursions during your stay. All game drives are exciting and successful (e.g. giraffes, a pride of lions, snakes...). A hike with the Bush People and an expert explanation of the southern starry sky are further educational entertainment. Since the lodge is not fenced, all accommodations are only accessible by vehicle and guide. There are a few new suites, very large, architecturally designed very appropriately: desk and sitting area with upholstered furniture and of course an indoor and outdoor shower. The best thing: Not just one large bed, but a second one on your own tower with seating for a sundowner and an unforgettable view over the Kalahari. Sleeping under the stars, very suitable for a few days honeymoon. The warmth and commitment of the people in this accommodation, their songs, the organization of the days and evenings make the stay an unforgettable experience.

I have never felt at home like I did while staying at Evolve Back Gham Dhao. The service is amazing; from rooms, guiding (Freeman is the best), our waiters Thandy, Tom & Boi, our Chefs and the host Atomic; I really have no words to express my gratitude. I still feel like I left something behind when I left the lodge. It is a home away from home and our stay was worthwhile. I cannot thank enough the owners Tessa, Thomas and Sandeep who made this trip possible. The bushman experience is something I will never forget; Joey was amazing, he was funny and expressed himself real well while showing us around. I will always recommend this lodge and will definitely go back.

Wonderful Place. We spent 3 day and we felt at home 
Thank you very much ti Atomic and all his staff. The best ever.
Our tent was really a Dream. We slept outside and It wss One of the best experience we did. Wonderful food.5 stars. We Hope to came back soon.

We had a spectacular and fantastic stay in this great, comfortable and rebuilt luxurious lodge. We had a very warm and heartfelt welcome and we felt all the time safe and secure. There were a lot of wonderful surprises given to us like a brunch in the bush and a romantic dinner in our lookout with champagne a very good and best cooked food. Also we could sleep one night underneath the stars, listening to the nature. Close to the lodge we can see many lions and the visiting of the wild animals at the waterholes at the lodge were amazing. Atomic the manager and his staff does a great job, we will never forget this wonderful experiences we had in this amazing place.

What a stay in the Central Kalahari! 
We had two sky luxe tents for 3 people for 2 nights, they were beautiful decorated and had every imaginable luxury (warm water, air con, 2 showers, 1 bathtube, charging stations, laundry service) also a outside Skybed on a higher lever deck with a great view.
The staff was great, many thanks to our guide Freeman and to the manager Atomic, the food really good (the breakfast took sometimes a little longer) and the activities were really interesting. Many thanks for these beautiful days.
