Hotel position is great, it's centrally located. Just across the street You can find main church and all shops You need. Hotel has elevator, room was very clean and owner is the most pleasant person ever.

Great stay at lovely Hotel

I have stayed at Qua Vadis  on my previous trips to Medugorje.
Miljana and her staff make it a very pleasant experience, The rooms are clean and the food is great.The location is a few minutes walk to St James Church.We had a room on the top floor with views of the church and cross mountain.

Returned to Qua Vadis for the third time. Miljana was able to accommodate us as i booked late
The rooms are clean and it is a short walk to the Church.
The staff are so helpful. Thanks to Miljana, Valentina Ivanna and Bobo who looked after us always wanting to help and made sure that we were comfortable.we had breakfast on the roof terrace with views of the church and the mountains.

What I loved about staying here was the hotel manager/owner, Miljana, accommodated us well. We arrived late in Medjugorje and having know we are traveling with a toddler and infant, she took the initiative to the hotel beside Quo Vadis- Zovko. She really made sure we are accommodated well. It's a bit of a walk from the church but the hospitality made up for the distance. Love how she and her staff will eat breakfast well by giving us a seemingly private part of the dining hall.

It was a blessing also having her share about her uncle Friar Slavko, who really played a major part in the propagation of the faith during the apparitions in the 80s. Her sharing kept us in awe and we understood why we were called to stay at this place.  Thank you Miljana for making us feel at home! 

Warm hospitality at its finest

Let me first say that if you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not it.  Quo Vadis is a lovely Pension style accommodation that treats its guests as if they were family.  This was our second visit here after three years and the place has been updated much and it has many more rooms and a larger area for the meals.  Miljana, the hostess, is fluent in Italian and English; she might know other languages as well.  When I contacted her for reservations I was surprised that she actually remembered me. How nice!  Zdravko, the factotum of the place is always available for help.  Miljana will sit down with you and help you plan you pilgrimage so that you will have a meaningful experience.  One night she hosted the entire group, we were Americans, but there was a big Portuguese group and some Italians.  On the terrace and she told us about Medjugorje and about some very spiritual experiences that she and other people have had.  The rooms are extremely comfortable, with heating and air conditioning and very clean.  Now the rooms don’t have a TV set or a telephone, but you don’t come to Medjugorje for that.  You most likely spend a few contemplative minutes in your room at night after a day's visit to the various places where the Blessed Mother has appeared and still appears.  Quo Vadis now has an elevator (lift) which is a very welcomed addition to the place.  The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, is cooked on the premises by a very good cook; unfortunately I don’t remember her name.  The food is all locally produced, simple and delicious.  You will not go hungry here. The food is served family style and you take what you like.  The wine is homemade and good and it goes well with the local dishes that the cook prepares.  The rates are extremely reasonable and you may pay with dollars euros or the local currency. Over all this is a gem of a place and I can’t wait to return.
