Thimphu Tower

Thimphu Towers was a wonderful home base while we spent a few of nights exploring the city. It's centrally located, with a fantastic view of the square and of the Great Buddha Dordenma statue, and it's walking distance to the majority of Thimphu's bars, restaurants and entertainment. The bed was great, the room was spacious, everything clean and very comfortable. The host, Tshering, often drops by the reception area, and is deeply friendly and fun to chat with. Highly recommend if you're looking for your place in Thimphu!

the softest of beds and plushest of pillows, room with a clock tower view is as beautiful as it can get. Breakfast is basic.
Spacious rooms, with heater and basic furniture. One of the few hotels that has mats under the shower so that you dont slip!

The best part of this hotel, which sits right on a main square in the center of town is the wonderful, gracious host and owner, Tshering. She greets every guest as though they are family. With her great command of English, and open heart, she makes everyone feel welcome. The views are great too overlooking the square, and I could see the huge Buddha up on the hill at night from my room. There is a homey feel to the hotel, and I will definitely return next time I'm in Thimphu! Wishing her luck in her bid to rid Bhutan of all plastics..

Thimphu Towers is beautiful, perfectly clean, comfortable, highly professional staff, welcoming feel, secure,  and has the best location in Thimphu! It is run by a couple who are beloved in Bhutan and who are known for their genuine work to make the country a better place, and their hotel is exemplary of their high standards: quality in every detail, modernity, environmental sustainability, and care for staff, and generous treatment of guests. Practically: The rooms have views across the city, the bathrooms are spacious and the showers are luxurious, they have one of the most modern water purification systems (eliminating the need for disposable plastic water bottles!). We will always return to Thimphu Towers!

The property is very good and also the owner Ms. Tshering Wangmo. The staff are very polite and the food is also good. 
The property is located near the clock tower. Very good location and everything is near by.

Hotel Thimpu Towers is in the heart of the city, very convenient to walk around and easy access.

I was on 7 days trip to Bhutan in December 2022 with some of my friends from Singapore and UK.  Thimphu tower Hotel was the first hotel we stayed in Bhutan .  On the very first day the owner welcome us with lovely tea ! The hotel was at prime location and the service was even better . The cafe downstairs has great view of the Thimphu tower (Capital’s main Hub ) and so did my room . Everything was very accessible from market to bars and to the main dzongs . 

I would highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling Thimphu . Great property , awesome service and perfect location

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Thimphu Towers. The room was big and clean. Wifi was very good. Our meal servings were huge that it was such a waste to not finish it all so we had to ask them to lessen the servings. We were able to meet the hotel’s charming owner, Ms Tshering Wangmo and were impressed with her advocacy and how the hotel came to be. We won’t hesitate to recommend this place to our family and friends.

Beautifully designed and decorated hotel in the heart of Thimphu. We had a huge room that was perfectly clean and warm. Our bathroom was likewise massive and the water was hot with fantastic pressure even though it was very late in the evening by the time we arrived. We also had a lovely view of the Clocktower square from the very large windows in our room. 

The food in the restaurant was delicious and the host was extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions we had and recommend what to do and eat. She was also willing to tailor the menu for our personal preferences for the next evening which was appreciated. 

It's a great venue with fantastic service and we only wish we could have stayed longer.
