If you're on your way to Tikal and need cheap accomodation this might be the place for you. This is literally sitting in the jungle so tons of bugs, ants and crawling things. Not all beds have Mosquito netting which can be very annoying. night is quite a spectacle as most of the outdoor areas are occupied by huge ant trains. there are chickens, lots of them, they are kept on the premises. staff is nice. rooms are shoddy, same for the showers, lots of mold. there is wifi but it only works in the lobby area. the lake is a 5-10min walk away, lots of small places to eat nearby. its nothing special but comparing price vs. value id recommend it if youre on a budget.
