Stayed for one night on a business trip. Location - easy to find, parking round the back, great views in the breakfast room - looking out towards a stream and fields.
Room was fabulous - bathroom and large lounge area downstairs with bedroom and ensuite upstairs along with a balcony. Couldn't have asked for more.

Large bathroom, huge deep bath and at the other end of the bathroom a rainforest/monsoon shower head, large basin and lovely toiletries. 

Very clean, tidy and almost a homely feel to the room from top to bottom.

Breakfast, a good selection at breakfast, continental, cereals, spreads, breads etc and the offer to cook eggs to order. Fresh tea and coffee to order.

Very accommodating owners and very helpful.

Highly recommend staying here if you in the area

Perfect boutique B&B

Lovely people, very nice breakfast and too much choice for 1 person. Great bedroom and garden. 
The negative points are that there is some traffic in the street so you can still hear it and there is a parking for the guests however it is not very big. 
These negative points are very low compared to the positive points.

Nice Hotel

This was a one night stop over. It was a warm night and by having the windows open we got all the road noise from outside. But that did not detract from the pleasant atmosphere and very helpful staff. Sitting outside at the back overlooking the stream with a glass of wine after a long day’s drive was most relaxing. Breakfast was continental but with the offer of fresh cooked eggs. My one issue was that the deliberate design of room 4 and 5 ( we were travelling with friends who had the next door room) meant that there was no door to the bathroom and loo. Room 4 had the entry to the bathroom to one side . Our room it was directly at the end of our bed. There are some things I like to do in s bathroom in private however comfortable I am with my partner. But if you were sharing with a friend or your mother! Changing s tampax or wiping my bum here would be in full view of whomever was sitting or lying on the bed a few feet away. I did not like this room lay out at all. A simple pull across curtain would solve that problem! That apart this was a very pleasant stay. The restaurant we were recommended was very good and only a short walk away. Parking is at the rear of the property.

A Bohemian style hotel on a nice town

Conveniently close to the motorway and the Belgium/Netherlands border, Villa Tilia was overall a good experience for us. If you want to experience the outstanding food, there may be some hurdles to overcome. My wife has relatively simple tastes and a small appetite, so she opted for the simple and competitively priced set menu. I wanted to try dishes from the exciting (and in some ways innovative) a la carte menu. The waiter was clear: if you want the menu you both have to have the same dishes. Not: not just eat from the same menu, but choose identical dishes from the menu. After negotiation (and a visit to the chef) it was agreed that I could choose what I wanted and my wife could choose from the set menu. The cooking in both cases was quite excellent; I should add that the waiter and chef-patron were, in the end, very helpful indeed - the chef-patron is very visible and clearly dedicated to his innovative and very well made dishes. The other rough edge was that the (otherwise delightful) balcony outside our room had not been cleaned for some weeks, nor its flower beds weeded. Not quite five stars.

I honoustly expected little but was surprised positively. I ordered late and received the last room which happend to be the suite with roofterrace. Great breakfast, nice people.

Only an overnight but met by a friendly reception and the place is just so full of charm.   It has painted ceilings, tasteful decor and has kept a lot of its historic touch.   Rooms are lovely, breakfast was fresh with great service and so was price.  Look forward to returning.   Thanks for a nice stay 

Lovely place - lots of authenticity !

10 rooms cozy hotel in the mid of Flanders. Nice and attentive staff and service.
Despite not having a night shift, the staff managed to let me arrive later after a long business day. 
That is what I appreciate in giving the guest the impression he's very welcome! 
Pity could not take a dinner in the magnificent stucco restaurant room. 
You get to your rooms through a nice, home styled stairways.
Cozy room, well furnished, top furnished bathroom with all amenities, and - a point to note - coming from "Fair Trade".
Very good breakfast, with any kind of eggs prepared specially for you.
Parking lot small but more than enought to accomodate all guest car.
Highly recommended for a break off the traditional hotels.
