We made a reservation because we saw a lot of positive reviews l about the restaurant. We had a four course dinner for 52 euros each. Apparently, excluding bread and without dessert (which was not told beforehand).  For 4 persons it was €300 together and that is never a problem but this was not worth it and that is a shame.  Dishes were not properly explained in English, the service was chaos and for that price not what it should be.  The amuses of mussels were very tasty, much of the food was very salty and did not live up to expectations.  We had a better meal at restaurant Adagio (located nearby) than at this “chic” restaurant.

I booked a room on front of leak. and was really very awesome.

the Great Place 

An absolute gem of a restaurant with delightful rooms overlooking Lake Ossiacher. We did a 2 hour lake cruise with our 2 dogs then stayed for supper at this wonderful fish restaurant. The food was fabulous as was the wine so we asked if they 
had a room available to stay the night which they did. The accommodation was first class as was our breakfast & the views from our balcony were simply stunning! Gerhardt the proprietor & chef is charming & creates his delicious dishes in an amazing old oven in this beautiful 1,000 year old building in front of you. All in all a fabulous find which we will return to & totally dog friendly, another added bonus!!

Unexpected dinner & stay over

Really nice experience for a Sunday late morning. Started outside with a nice glass of bubbly and then moved inside to the very nicely decorated restaurant.  

This is somehow a cross between brunch and lunch; i.e. There's a nice buffet, including soup, and then there's a served fish course and then meat course. 

Overall it's a really nice experience, however for approx €40 plus drinks you'd expect and require that.  

If it was just a tad cheaper I'd rate it 5 stars.  

High-end brunch at a price

We went to this hotel as walk in customers after a visit of burg landskron. we found very friendly and accomodating hosts, a well appointed, clean and spacious room. they were very nice with our small children, had everything ready for them. mini bar was free of charge and the breakfast was unbelievably good!! we will return for sure and then hopefully on a day when the restaurant downstairs is open... We can and will recommend this accomodation.
