Birdswood Retreat B&B was very clean & bright. The bathroom was large and the bedroom & the sofa beds were so comfortable. First class service including delicious complimentary cooked breakfast and dinner(upon request). A very peaceful & relaxing place to stay as well. It was so convenient as it was so close to all the attractions along the Mornington Peninsula. The hosts Jeff & Tanya were great. We felt so comfortable and recharged after the trip. The best B&B we have ever been to. Definitely value for money. We would love to go back again. Thank you Jeff & Tanya for making our stay at Birdswood Retreat B&B so amazing. Normally I don't like bed and breakfast accommodation but Tanya and Jeff welcome you into their home with warmth and generosity. You can feel part of the family or keep to yourself - it's your choice. The breakfasts were wonderful and could include berries, cereals, toast, eggs or waffles. The room (with a view) was very large with a huge sofa and TV. The on- suite was luxurious. The house is 5 minutes from Frankston and in a great position to visit the wonderful Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island and Gippsland areas. I would love to return. The hosts were fantastic.

Spoil  yourself!

Well kept secret but not for long I suspect. From the minute we were greeted at the door by Jeff we were made to feel like there lovely home was ours to totally share and use as we pleased. Little things like complimentary slippers, bowl of chocolates in our room and ready access to tea, coffee, fruit etc at any time were fantastic. Large, comfortable room with ensuite and WIR and the ready access to kitchen and living area ensured our every need was met. Even complimentary local shuttle service if wanted. Beautiful buffet and cooked breakfast completed our brief stay. Jeff and Tanya are great hosts and I would highly recommend a stay if in the area.

Home away from home

Very very comfortable, service is fantastic, bed very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing, thank you girls you did a great job. The area we had we separate lounge was great and bathroom is hugh with everything you need supplies


Great stay

Jeff and Tanya and their young adult children were excellent hosts. Friendly and helpful. 
 Excellent breakfasts.    Very roomy and comfortable bedroom and bathroom.   This was a terrific find. We will return.
